Just finished the Lantang Valley trek.Shiva was very responsive to any inquiries put forward. Guide SUNA was extremely patient and took care of all my needs on trek. Jeep provided for Kathmandu to Syrapubesi was first class. Highly recommended.
Everything was really well organised. The owner made sure I had all the right equipment before starting this trek. With the help of my amazing guide, Bijay Adhikari, I finished this trek. He made me feel very comfortable and made sure the initary was changed to my likes. Thanks Nepal Lion Trek for this amazing experience!
Shiva is a very committed business owner. He communicates proactively and provides quick responses to any questions. Overall we had a great time in Nepal and enjoyed the Annapurna base camp trek. It was obvious to us that Nepal Lion has a lot of experience organizing these treks and we would therefore recommend other travellers to book with Shiva.
The trek was beautiful with an amazing view at the top. Our tour guide Bishnu was very friendly and got us very nice hotels and restaurants. He also pointed out the different mountains within the Annapurna range along our trek and had a lot of knowledge about them as well as Nepalese culture. The trek was challenging but very do-able. would definitely recommend this trek as well as the tour company
My wife and I just completed a 10-day trek the Annapurna Sanctuary with Nepal Lion Tours and Treks. Overall, Nepal Lion Tours did a very good job organizing our tour, providing us with an English-speaking guide and 2 very good porters. The trek up to Annapurna Base Camp is challenging, with steep ascents and descents - especially in the Nepal foothills. October is a very busy time, and the volume of tourists taxes the local infrastructure. Unfortunately, there is not a reservation system in place that allows for Trekking Companies in Katmandu or Pokhara to reserve rooms ahead of time. Our guide was very good in trying to locate private rooms for us. Only one night we had to walk an extra 1.5 hours to find a bed - adventure travel. We would recommend Nepal Lion Tours to anyone looking for a company organize their travel in Nepal.
All around an amazing experience, and Bikash was an outstanding guide. I trusted him fully the entire way up and down. He is very friendly and easy to get along with. We had a great time exploring and learning about Nepali culture together. If you are looking for a trek that will test your abilities, while also being manageable for all ages, this is the one. I highly reccomend choosing this trek!!
Just finished my 9 days ABC trekking tour with Nepal Lion and I'm pleased with their seamless arrangement for the whole trip. The trek surely wasn't easy but it's fulfilling and the view up there surely worth the efforts. The booking with them was rather impromptu and I'm glad that it turned out to be great. My guide Bikash Nikesh is a very considerate person and he knows the terrains very well having himself did many treks in Nepal. He can adjust to your pace based on your request and personal fitness, most importantly he will ensure your safety at all times. Personally, having a guide is important because during my trek there were two massive landslides and thanks to Bikash I'm in one piece. And this was during the end of monsoon, an amateur hiker like me would have difficulties in getting thru it. For that I'm grateful. Nepal Lion itself is a small company and they are very customer centric with flexibility to adjust the trip based on your needs. Besides, I am happy to support small business in Nepal as it's not easy to make ends meet here. What I appreciate the most is that they explain everything clearly and orderly so you would have a right expectation of the trek and what is included and what is not for the trip. They are honest and genuine in their business. Plus, the airport transfers and farewell dinners are just a wonderful way to complete your trip in Nepal. If I were to return to Nepal for EBC I will surely go back to them. Until then, all the best with your trip if you're planning to do so!
