WARNING. Before booking with this company I recomend you to read all the one star comments about them. If something goes wrong during your stay it will not be fixed and promised refunds will never be paid.
I have now for more than 7 months been assured that they take my complaint seriously and are vey sorry etc. They claim that refund is with their financial department and will be paid soon. AVOID AT ALL COST.
About June 1st 2025 I was told I would receive € 123,-
on my rental in Oostende, Belgium. So far nothing has shown up on my bank account. More than two weeks ago Huswell informed me via Trustpilot that the amount had been paid. THIS IS A LIE. No monies have been received and my repeated requests for banking details have not been answered. Reading comments from other renters who have had problems, I have the impression that not paying promissed refund is a standard practice. Once again: AVOID THEM!!
This was sent earlier today and Huswell's reply is just a lot of repeated lies and b.. If what they claim is thrue, Huswell must be the most inefficient company I have ever come across in my whole life, needing more than 8 months to pay a refund. As said before, AVOID THEM.
A charming apartment in a delightful location. The apartment was situated in a peaceful residential neighborhood, conveniently close to all necessary amenities. Inside, it was tastefully furnished and modern, equipped with everything required for a comfortable stay. An added perk was the garage and garden, along with what might be the most comfortable bed I've ever experienced!
This is a wonderful apartment—bright and new—but could use a bit more decoration for a cozier feel. Our daughter was delighted with the variety of toys available. The coffee machine might be in need of an update, though! :-)

In September 2025, we booked a holiday home for summer 2026 and made the payment. We received various confirmations, which were confusing. Two months later, we received multiple messages stating the holiday home was canceled. Attempts to get answers were futile, as we were directed to an AI assistant or put on hold for long periods. Eventually, when we reached a representative, they had no information. I recommend avoiding this service. I've even filed a complaint regarding these practices.
This apartment is lovely, especially the view of the square adorned with Christmas lights. It was clean and well-equipped. However, it's situated right next to some bars, so the music can be quite loud on weekends. If you prefer a quiet night’s sleep, this might not be the best choice.
The professionalism and communication throughout the process were commendable. The apartment itself was top-notch in every aspect—attractive, clean, well-prepared, and warm upon arrival. A true 5-star experience! We will definitely return.
This magnificent apartment is excellently located near the train station, shops, and the sea, with a fantastic view of the port and the illuminated Mercator during the holidays. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, the bedding is impeccable, and the kitchen is well-equipped. Overall, it's a bright, spacious, and clean apartment. Plus, there's a bakery downstairs for fresh bread rolls and pastries starting at 7:00 am—perfect for a casual morning!
