Unfortunately bad reviews are correct. This stone countertop company demonstrated a complete lack of competence from start to finish. Complete lack of professionalis. They were unable to correctly measure the area, which led to incorrect production of the stone surfaces. Instead of taking responsibility for their own measuring errors, they attempted to shift the blame onto the client.They insist that the client “confirm the drawings,” implying that the customer should somehow know how to professionally measure and identify technical mistakes—something that is entirely the responsibility of the contractor even by law, not the client.Whenever mistakes were discovered, they refused to accept accountability. Instead, they blamed everyone else: the machines, appliance manufacturers, and the customer—anyone but themselves. At no point did they show ownership of their errors or offer a straightforward solution. In the end, the customer had to fix the mistakes themselves, as the company offered no viable solution and instead demanded additional payment to correct problems they had caused. Given their clear inability to properly install stone surfaces, it was wiser not to allow this unprofessional company to continue the work and risk making the situation even worse.Their lack of skill, accountability, and professionalism made the entire experience stressful and costly. This company should not be trusted with stone measurement, production, or installation.
I would strongly caution anyone considering this company for a custom kitchen countertop. My experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.I ordered a custom stone countertop including their own on-site measurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation. I trusted them as professionals to get it right.Here’s what went wrong:Despite doing the measurements themselves, they delivered a countertop 7–8 mm too short along the entire wall, creating a consistent, visible gap that makes proper installation impossible.This isn’t about a crooked wall—the gap is completely uniform. Independent measurements show the wall has only ~2 mm of unevenness over the entire length, which is normal tolerance in construction and can’t explain an 8 mm shortfall.Their own measurement plan sent to me shows the correct (longer) dimensions. They now claim they used some secret “internal” plan with reduced dimensions that they never shared or asked me to approve.They cancelled a promised re-measurement appointment rather than confirm the error on site.Their so-called solution?Instead of remaking the countertop correctly, they offered to glue on a side panel to “hide” the gap. But my independent kitchen installer confirmed it wouldn't even properly conceal the gap when viewed from the front—it’s a cheap workaround, not a fix.Worse, the incorrect size has created a serious safety issue. The countertop is supposed to rest securely on a metal wall bracket. Because it’s too short, 8 mm of the bracket is left uncovered, so the heavy stone top sits on only a narrow part of its support. The installer immediately flagged this as dangerous and refused to leave it in place.Additional context:This isn’t a weird wall—there was already a perfectly fitting stone countertop installed before. The space clearly accommodates a properly cut worktop.I paid over €3,600 (plus €400 for delivery) for this “custom” piece that now can’t even be installed safely.They have refused to remake it or offer a refund, despite all of this evidence.Bottom line:This company has refused to stand behind its own measurements or fix a clear production error. Instead of taking responsibility, they’ve blamed the wall and tried to cover the mistake with an inadequate cosmetic panel. Meanwhile, I have no usable kitchen countertop and have been left with the threat of legal action as my only recourse.I do not recommend them to anyone who wants professional, reliable service or accountability for their work.
Five visits later from Nerostein and we finally have a completed kitchen countertop. Everything that could possibly go wrong, has gone wrong. Incorrect measurements, countertop too long, too short, backsplash too long, too short, missing polished edge, a polished edge where it shouldn't have been, wrong side polished, tap hole too small, I could go on. After all these mistakes, it was us who had to pay for an extra backsplash piece to cover one of the larger gaps. They have offered minimal compensation. At this point we are settling with a countertop that is not perfect because we don't want this process to continue any longer. We have done a full apartment renovation and this has been by far the most difficult and inefficient company we have dealt with.
The products I have nothing to complain about. The deliveries however, was quite unprofessionally handled. There was stressed phone calls from different numbers, ignoring the information we provided regarding who was home to welcome them that day and how to reach that person. Despite us living in Gothenburg Sweden, some of the phone calls came from Estonia, which seemed not serious and just peculiar. When a company has several demands on what we as customers have to do in order to get the product installed, they should at least have a good and calm attitude against the customer - we are, after all, giving them money for a service of theirs.
Two young guys came and they were quick and effecient. Not so talkative but just very focused. And these two guys were very careful and accurate in their installation of the stone composite board. Had some boards that needed to be leveled to match 110% and they worked with that. They complimented me on a well leveled bench which made their installation much easier. So a recommendation to all who is ordering Nerostein’s help is to make sure that you do your part of the job and not expect them to do impossible magic with unleveled benches.
