Review Time
We used NK Movers (Toronto) in February 2025 after seeing positive reviews on their website. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. During a winter move, they did not use any floor coverings and walked all over our floors, leaving a mess that took me hours to clean.
I specifically requested three movers, but one left after only three hours. Although the move took about eight hours, we were charged for eleven. On top of that, several pieces of our furniture were damaged.
Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend staying away from this company.

I had a terrible experince with this company..the guy Akshat,sagar, micheal and DAVID is the most horrible person i can ever talk to..the movers are highly unprofessional and rude..they have no respect for women or children or even old age people...they charge way more than the estimated price ..i ended up paying $2000 even though i was quoted $640..they are the worst experince..PLEASE DONT HIRE N.K.MOVERS..
Everyone that rated this company more than 1 star are probably lying and are bogus ratings. If you check out the Better Business Bureau they have an F rating. The complaints are very similar- they’re late, the damage your property and they literally take money from you illegally. They are scammers and think they can get away with it. DO NOT HIRE THEM! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD! DO NOT TRUST THEIR QUOTE AND JUST KEEP ON LOOKING FOR ANOTHER MOVER!!! They were 2.5 hours late and only had furniture to move. They literally SUCKED at moving anything-they left my furniture on my driveway and it started to rain. Then they double charged me illegally after I paid the invoice via e transfer. The Manager Michael is a piece of work and thinks he’s smart. We have filed a complaint through the Ontario fraud department, through our bank and the BBB. These people are thieves and should be behind bars for theft!
This seems to be the only place with positive reviews for NK Movers and after using them, I see why. I presume most of the reviews here are fake. I will be submitting a complaint to consumer reports alongside this review.The bad:Akshan is totally incompetent about doing quotes and will straight lie to your face. I was told they could do the move in 4 hours and that I was being charged from the time they showed up at my house. That is a lie. They will start charging you before they show up to your house. If there was no traffic, and there were no things to move there was no way they could complete the move in 4 hours. Akshan should find a new job that doesn't involve quoting moves as he is currently scamming Canadians by underquoting.They showed up 5 hours late, this meant that they hit rush hour traffic through Toronto. One guy they sent was unable to lift a 30lbs box and would play on his cellphone if I didn't actively tell him exactly what to move. In fact I once asked him to move a pile of desk parts and he didn't even finish it but instead played on his phone. If he wasn't so weak I probably could have directed him more, but I was stuck moving all the furniture as he was incapable. Lastly after I tipped the movers they pretended that their battery died. I paid them $100 an hour to pretend to have a dead battery and sit in my driveway as I unpacked stuff to find cables. When we couldn't find our cables conveniently the truck started right away. So I did most of the move myself and got charged over double what I was quoted. DO NOT BELIEVE AKSHANS LIES. He lives on another planet where time takes place differently.I guess if you are comfortable paying $100 an hour to watch someone play on their phone, smoke cigarettes and pretend to have a dead battery you can waste your money with NK Movers.
On sunday July 4, 2021 at 1pm the NK company was supposed to give us moving service. This was booked few days prior to this date. They did not show up. The did not receive my calls, and they did not inform or give an explanation why they did not show up. Finally I was able to reach one person at 5pm. He said that he would rebook and give us compensation. We rebooked to Tue July 6, 2021.On Tue July 6, 2021 one driver and one man( they promised two men) arrived 45 minutes late. They demanded more money. They did not complete the job. I called the police and talked to the company. They was no compensation for a day loss but demanded more hourly pay. We had a lump sum money deal. They tricked to sign and argued that I was signed. The all team are liars, unprofessional, un responsive to your calls, the all confuse you and give you heart attack rather a better service. PLease do go with this fake company. It is a fraud. The team and company play games, drama and give you trauma to collect more money. They are well organized scammers.
