Having used this product for several months, I found it to be excellent. It proved even better when we moved house and needed to monitor the cats' activities. It has never failed in detecting prey and has been a great help in ensuring we get a good night's sleep. We consider this to be the best product on the market right now. Worth every penny! 👍
I invested in this cat flap in December after a rather unsettling incident involving a rat on my sofa. It has been life-changing. I have four cats, two of which go outside and two that don’t. On workdays, I’m out for 15 hours and often work night shifts. I used to have pre-shift dramas trying to get the outdoor cats inside before leaving for work, fearing I'd come home to unwanted gifts. One of my favorite features is being able to remotely lock the cat flap once I see on my pet cam that they're inside and safe, then unlock it for their pre-breakfast hunt before I get home. I've detected a few unwanted rodents and a visiting cat, all of whom were denied entry. Watching the recordings of activity at my back door is entertaining for me and my family. It fits perfectly in my previous flap's gap. I’m absolutely delighted and have had no issues. It took one cat a few hours to adjust and the other a couple of days. I did contact customer service for assistance early on, and the support I received was prompt and very helpful. The owner's social media page is fun and informative too. Best purchase of 2025; I love it!
This is truly the best cat flap. We’ve had it for several months, and it works wonderfully. It was unreliable when installed in the original metal door panel, but after switching to a reinforced UPVC panel, it works perfectly. The support team is very helpful. We no longer receive unwanted gifts from our cat. The device is worth the investment as it gives us peace of mind and saves on cattery costs.
I helped to crowdfund Only Cat and I'm delighted I played a small part in its development. It gives my cat Cindy the freedom to go in and out as she pleases, and me the assurance that I won't find unwanted birds and mice in my house, dead or alive. She learned quite quickly that she couldn't get through the catflap with her prey and rarely tries now. If I'm away, it's great to be able to look up the videos on the app to see whether she's in or out.The Only Cat catflap is very robust and easy to clean. I have had onlycat for 4 months with 2 cats who are regular mousers often 2 or 3 a week but since using it not once have they managed to bring anything in night or day No more sleepless nights or worrying what I will find when I come home and I can check whether they are in or out GREAT
