After I paid in $145 full for my item and shipping, I got a text from DHL saying they were holding my package until I paid $75 more. When I contacted the company, they directed me to some fine-print about how customs is my responsibility.

If you are going to sell internationally, the seller should have a system that clearly states the total price at checkout. Very simple stuff.
