Stopped working after two weeks and no support at all

The product stopped working after two weeks. It doesn’t turn on and the battery doesn't charge - never stops blinking when on a charger, doesn't turn on when off. And there appears to be no support: no response to my email to the email address listed in the manual, no response to my message to their Whatsapp "support" number. The physical product itself has a poorly placed and designed on/off mechanism: it is in the middle where it can be easily touched and accidentally turned off or on while in use. The app that comes with it has clunky flow and the instructions it gives during exercises are badly phrased, such as "prepare to exhale" after you exhaled, instead of "inhale without the device". The instructions of how they want you to breathe - slow and steady vs. hard and fast - are not clearly given for each type of exercise and there is no information of how to interpret various stats they show after, and no clue given of how to improve "compliance" numbers it reports.Overall, at best, it feels like a product rushed to market without good testing by a company that has no resources to have any support. But I wouldn't exclude the possibility that it is a scam.

What’s next

What’s next, a Fitbit for my nostrils??But seriously — this thing is addictive. Makes me feel like I’m finally using my lungs properly. Addicted. Help.

Honestly thought this was some Silicon Valley gimmick. But after using it three times a week, my singing tone improved and I’m sleeping deeper. 10/10 accidental life upgrade.

I’m a rower

I’m a rower. Breath control is half the game. This little beast boosted my endurance in less than 2 weeks. Best tool I’ve bought this year, hands down.

I originally got Oumua for breath training, but something surprising happened — I started sleeping better. I think the deep exhale work helps my nervous system calm down. This thing sits next to my bed now.

Love the quantifiable nature of Oumua

Love the quantifiable nature of Oumua. It measures my max exhalation and inhalation force and translates it into meaningful training plans. I’m now pairing this with my Garmin and seeing strong correlation with HRV and energy levels.

I was hospitalized with moderate COVID…

I was hospitalized with moderate COVID pneumonia in 2022, and although I recovered fully, I always felt like my lungs “never quite came back.”My pulmonologist suggested inspiratory muscle training, so I searched and landed on Oumua. What attracted me was that this wasn’t just a plastic pipe with resistance — it had an app, analytics, and guided protocols.✅ Pros: • Beautiful design • Easy to clean • Tracks metrics like lung age and VO2Max • Bluetooth works flawlessly • I feel progress❌ Cons: • Would be nice to have more explanation on the measurements for laypeople • App UX could improve slightly (too many swipes to get to favorites)That said — I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. I sleep better, walk farther, and my breathing is measurably stronger.
