Review Time
First of all I was told that it would only take 3-6 months to settle my accounts. It has been 7 months and they only settled one out of the 11 or 12 that I signed up. They told me in at least 3 conversations that their fee was included in my monthly payment. Then suddenly after receiving over $7000 of my money they take out a fee of $2207.75!! SO I called and left a message which never got returned. The next call was to ask me why I didn't sign the next settlement they wanted me to sign. I told them it's because of the fee they charged me and I did not agree to that. I also did not agree with the settlement they were wanting me to sign. There is no difference in signing on with this company and settling your own debts with the creditors. They literally charge 25% and they settle for 40% less so your difference is 15% but they make you pay that within 1 year so your payment that goes towards the creditor out of your monthly payment is still very high. Then they have you sign a 5 year settlement agreement which could pay off your debts by then anyhow so there is no quick benefit to signing on with Pacific Debt Relief Inc. Plus they don't even begin to settle your accounts until over half a year after you sign so your credit is already ruined anyway. Also, they still have not called me back to explain why they lied even after leaving my request with a live agent as well as a voicemail. My advice, call your creditor after missing a few payments and they will make a deal with you! I do not trust this company and will not be recommending them.
