I ordered a transcription for my drum playing. It was delivered quickly and was of good quality. The correspondence was easy and fast. The contact with the musician was pleasant. If needed, I will use Paidtabs again. I can recommend it to other users
I'm a new user of PaidTabs and had a custom tab created. The process to have it done worked flawlessly but I was shocked at how bad the tab I received was. The tab was done by one of the highest rated transcribers on Paidtabs and the song was not that hard. Very disappointed. Update: After several days of going back and forth with the transcriber, two versions and the involvement of PaidTabs I got a third version and its like night and day compared to the previous versions, like somebody else did it. Not sure what happened but I am satisfied with this version.
I stumbled on paidtabs searching one day as obscure songs are difficult to find. Ive since used it 4 times and its been spot on. Excellent transcriptions so far. Highly recommended. The transcribers Ive used communicate great and deliver!
Update 2: PaidTabs is doing the honorable thing by offering me a refund which will allow me to give them another try. Maybe I was just unlucky with the one freelancer I chose, which by the way was not the lowest bid. I left him some constructive feedback in hopes that he’ll learn from it. PaidTabs handling of this experience has been very professional, which is always a sign of a good company. Update: PaidTabs responded to my review indicating that my poor review is more about the individual “freelancer” than it is about their overall platform. Well, in my view, the freelancer is an extension of the platform and PaidTabs bears a responsibility to ensure their freelancers are providing a quality service. If not, then the value of the platform is diminished. For example, I will never use PaidTabs again. I spent $75 on 3 songs and spent more time correcting the freelancer than I should have for that money. Why would I risk doing that again? It’s possible that I just had one bad experience. But if that’s the case, that’s how business goes sometimes. Initial review: Although he tried with a good attitude, I paid for 3 Patsy Cline songs to be transcribed. They were pretty straightforward, yet I had to go back and forth 3 times, even offering the lead sheets for each song and I’m still not sure that he got it right. I sort of gave up at this point. One song was in the wrong key and none of the transcriptions followed the original songs correctly. It really was a waste of my money and time.
