Review Time
I've used several writing platforms, some of which no longer exist and shut down with little warning -- such as Figment, and Underlined. A big paranoia of mine as a result is losing my projects before I have the chance to back them up. Reedsy is incredible in the fact that it autosaves as you write. So if my internet goes out, or I close the tab by mistake, I can find relief in knowing I lost little to no progress. That alone makes it worth trying out, at least in my opinion.
The additional writing features are an incredible bonus. The find and replace and built in spellcheck are lifesavers, and there's still so many on the free edition I haven't had the chance to try yet.
I've used Reedsy for about four months, and I can honestly say I am very happy with my experience so far.

I would not recommend this service.
The tools were not useful for me, but the real problem was cancelling the subscription.
There was no visible cancel option in the billing portal or account settings. Even the link provided by support did not allow cancellation.
Users should not have to email support just to stop a trial.
I love using reedsy studio to write my book. I find it very easy to use and love features like boards where I can put notes about my characters and world making it so much easier to remember those little details. You can also set your own word writing goal which helps keep you on track, would recommend!

There is so much more that it has to offer than I can list in this review. The perfect tool if you are writing a book and don't know where to start. Their marketplace of professionals to aid when your book is finished helps writers find vetted editors, book cover designers, etc.
I've really been enjoying Reedsy for writing my first book. It is very well organized and has many tools to help make your writing experience the easiest and most enjoyable it can be. I really enjoy all the book matter sections on the left hand side when writing. It shows you every part of your book in tabs so you can easily switch back and forth between whichever ones you need. The only thing I think I'd change is the one feature that is only excess able to people who pay for it. It shows you what words and phrases you've used the most and I wish it was free. Of course everything can't be free, but I think that feature would be useful to anyone writing, not just premium members.
Until I discovered Reedsy, I felt unsure about anything to do with my fiction project. The discovery was a turning point in my writing journey. I feel much more confident after having used Reedsy editorial services to approach literary agents and publishers. If you are looking for a one-stop shop for all your writing needs, go no further. You'll find authentic and top-notch resources here. Their list of professionals is reliable and prompt, besides providing you with choices that most likely would fit your budget. everything on Reedsy is east to use and clear to the eye. my favorite feature is definitely the goals on the top right corner. it really help me stay on track and keep my goals in check. it also tells you how many words you need to write in a day to complete by your due date. this website is amazing for beginners (like me) and more advanced writers (not like me). i am confident that Reedsy will help you write your book in a timely and organized fashion.
The editor was professional and gave me insightful information to improve my story and provided me with encouraging Feedback. The critique helped me to see what I needed to improve. The Price was a little bit higher, however, I'm thankful I found Reedsy. I'll be using them again to find an editor for my next project.
Unfortunately Reedsy Discovery discriminates against people with disabilities and does not honor their submission guidelines. My book was "declined" erroneously (I received an email from their community relations manager saying it should not have been declined simply because I used AI tools in my grammar and formatting which I require in my writing because of a brain and spinal cord injury) however after three weeks of no response, and my book not being restored I missed my promotional day (which I paid for) and I have not been refunded or given a new slot for my book. When things go well, the company is fine. When things don't go well, it seems authors have very little recourse, which is unfortunate.
