So, yet another scammer - this one is a link from a Facebook site that claims to be the genuine Car raffle site, Rev Comps - They will reply to your posts and claim you have won a prize and only ask for £9.99 to cover the cost of "postage". They've got nothing to do with RevComps (A genuine company in the UK) This lot are based in Cyprus and are a fake "membership" company that will first bill you £9.99 and then £65 every two weeks for their fantastic membership that will give you access to their crappy drop shipping service (Temu stuff). Please don't fall for it - if you are reading this I hope you've not signed up to them. If you have signed up to them, contact your bank, report this fraud and get your card changed - you won't be able to cancel your "membership"
I pride myself in avoiding spam nail but thus one got me good and proper! An email from an art company ( Steven Brown art)dropped into my account, offering a discount on a suitcase. As I've bought from this company previously I didn't question the validity of the email as nothing suspicious stood out. Once I completed the purchase and let me tell you everything looked genuine, a response page opened up for paperlyplaza informing I had joined a loyalty scheme and will have money deducted every 2 weeks. The price I thought I'd paid for the suitcase was different to the amount pending in my bank account, this also showed in euros - this scam company address is in Cyprus - not UK.I've tried to cancel the subscription, I suspect more money will be taken from my account before it closes and I'll have fat chance of getting my money back or receiving the item I thought I was buying. I've tried blocking them with my bank. Apparently it's quite common for links to scam companies to be hidden in emails.Be warned- you won't see them coming!!!Update: I have received multiple emails ( see below) from Paperlyplaza.com since my review requesting I delete my review.I believe in transparency, so my post still stands. This is a gentle reminder regarding the review posted on Trustpilot and the follow-up to our recent communication. As mentioned, we’ve already deleted your membership from our system.
