Extremely poor customer service leads to lost loyalty. In 2020, I purchased a 55-inch television from a retailer in Rockville Center, NY. It functioned well until recently. In early December, just before my 5-year, $400 extended warranty was set to expire, I attempted to schedule a service appointment due to a line appearing at the top of the screen. I called multiple times, and each time I was assured I would receive a callback with an appointment date, which never happened. Eventually, I was given an appointment three weeks later for January 6, but it was for the incorrect TV. The technician then informed me that I had no service contract, and simply walked away without any concern. After calling back several times, I was unjustly accused of causing “impact damage” to the TV, which was completely untrue, as the TV was mounted securely on a stand in my living room without any visible damage. After this frustrating appointment, I called again and was promised a one-time courtesy service call, with a representative named Robin supposed to contact me. Naturally, I never received that call. When I reached out to corporate, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. I felt like they had no interest in assisting me. I tried again to get in touch with Robin, but the representative I spoke to was unhelpful and made false promises about a callback. After waiting a week with no response from the retailer regarding service, it became clear that their strategy is to ignore customers and hope they give up. Now that my warranty has expired, I am forced to purchase a new television. It’s clear where I won’t be buying my next TV. This retailer has lost a loyal customer of over 30 years, as I used to purchase everything there. After my experience, I will never return.
I will never consider buying from this company again. We purchased a refrigerator and a stove. The refrigerator displayed signs of damage just three days after being connected. Today, the stove exploded after less than three years of use.
I bought a high-end washing machine and paid extra for an extended warranty. When it broke, I was informed it would take about a month to repair. There was no temporary solution or urgency, just a long wait without a washer, despite having paid for their protection plan. I'm very disappointed in the actual value of the warranty. I won't be shopping with this company again.
I completely agree with other reviews. Customer service is virtually non-existent. The representatives were rude over the phone and hung up on me. They do not service items they sold unless you have the account or invoice number. I will never buy from this company again.
Warning: Do not buy from this company! I purchased an extended warranty, and they constantly provided excuses, wouldn't return calls, and ordered parts that were never available, blaming others for their incompetence. Both my Samsung and LG fridges failed within two years. I'm switching to a different retailer for better service.
Dave was exceptional. I am handicapped and bed-ridden. I provided him with the model number of my previous washer, and he found a compatible one quickly. We completed the transaction over the phone. Dave is empathetic, knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend him; he truly made my challenging situation much easier. Thank you, Dave, and happy holidays to you and your team!
I bought a GE range three months ago, and one of the burners stopped working. It took two weeks for a repair technician to come, despite me clearly explaining the issue. The repairman arrived two hours late, took a quick look, and said he would return in two weeks with the necessary part.
My washer broke, and I needed a new one. I purchased a Speed Queen around 3 PM, and the next morning, it was delivered to my kitchen. Their next-day delivery was the main reason I chose this company. The billing was straightforward, as I paid with Apple Pay, and they called five minutes before arriving. The entire process was smooth and hassle-free.
