Review Time
I ordered the PenMat 2 for my 2024 iPad pro 11" after watching an enthusiastic YouTube video. I have used a competitor's product for years on my iPads and thought it was quite good, but when I installed the PenMat 2 I was immediately blown away by how much more tactile and paper-like the experience is. It is truly a wonderful experience and installation is a breeze.
Unfortunately, there's a problem with fit, as the black border under the cutout for the camera obscures just enough of it to always get a "camera covered" error message; that means that facial recognition doesn't work. No matter how I reposition the PenMat 2, it is just off. This seems like a careless mistake for something supposedly made to fit this specific iPad model. I checked online reviews and this is a known problem, with some people saying they have cut the opening for the camera and it fixed it. However, the user shouldn't have to make any modifications that risk damaging the PenMat.
The product is very good, changed my experience with taking notes on my iPad for so much better. It was easy to use, the tip is also making a difference. I highly recommend this if you’re a student or graphic designer!
I bought the PenTips 3, and they are a game-changer! Love the bit of 'drag' they bring to drawing on my ipad. Thank you for this excellent product! Well worth the investment.
It took me a while to figure out which of their products was best for me. I draw mind maps in meetings and use my iPad in the same way as I would a paper note book. So I need to be able to write precisely and legibly. I settled on the PenTips Ink and I am so glad that I did. It is sooo much better than using the standard iPencil tip and it works well with the paperlike screen protector that I already had. I can see the difference and now realise how much effort I was having to put into writing legibly before. Bravo! Great customer service too.
I have been wanting to share my thoughts on this for some time now. In March 2024, I purchased a writing tool for my tablet along with two ink refills. While I appreciate the smooth writing experience, the ink quality is disappointing; the metal components easily detach. After having the initial inks replaced, the replacements exhibited the same issues. I’m unsure if my writing pressure is too much, but I typically use a standard pencil which shouldn't be overly forceful. Regards,

As I've mentioned multiple times, I consider this company to be the pinnacle of reliability, their products are exceptional, and the support team is remarkable. The only additional point is that delivery is always smooth, although I wish they would choose a more dependable delivery service. I was fortunate that my package wasn't taken from my neighbor's window ledge!
I've had the screen protector and the metal tip for about six months now, and honestly, I wish it performed better for the price. While I appreciate that you can remove it to watch movies, the screen protector scratches very easily, leaving deep marks. Additionally, the metal tip has come off on its own and won't stay attached to the pencil anymore; without that small part, the pencil doesn't work. Although the drawing experience is pleasant, I don't believe it's worth the price paid. I'd love to see a more affordable and durable version of this product.

An excellent product that is very easy to install and truly protects your screen. It can be removed easily for cleaning between the screen and protector, and the protector itself cleans up well. My last protector lasted longer than my previous device, and I expect this one to do the same.
