Review Time
I was informed that my package was delivered at my mailbox on July 23rd, 2025, but in fact; there was no package delivered. I paid for translation earbuds by debit card, and from what I could see, they were supposed to be coming from Italy. I am very dissatisfied that I haven't received my product and have paid for it with debit. My name is Martin Famber.
Beware of this company, they do not allow poor reviews on their products as "it directs business away ". I have bought their products several times thru the years and have always liked them although I do think they're overpriced. I only buy during good sales. But the last product I bought was a whipped body creme in fragrance Amazing Grace which I have always liked. I just opened it, bought it 3 months ago on sale, and it had no fragrance. I was really disappointed in it compared to other Amazing Grace products so I wrote a 3 star review and said it was a nice body creme but had no fragrance and I was disappointed in it.It wasn't a nasty review but they contacted me to say they couldn't publish it because "it would direct business away". Are you kidding me! So buyer beware of Philosophy skin care products as they only allow good reviews, you'll never see the bad ones.
I’ve had two bad experiences . One they did not send my free 5 piece gift with a large order. I had to contact them twice to get a response . Second the dispenser top did not work on a face cream product . I asked for another lid . Instead I’m expected to package up , take to post office , and track the package . Really ?? Just wanted a dispenser that worked .
How interesting…I thought philosophy was a reputable company, but it seems I’m not alone in a) receiving 0 aftercare and b) very very late posting of my items. They’re yet to be delivered, so I’ll report back on that-but after 3 weeks, they’ve apparently been dispatched. We’ll see. Anyway. I wish I’d seen these reviews before purchasing. My advice to anyone who’s not yet ordered would be…don’t!!!! PHILOSOPHY ARE AWFUL!!!! They’re rude. They’re unprofessional and unreliable. They take your money and appear to only send your items if they feel like it. Awful, awful, awful. What a way to treat paying customers!!!! SCAMMERS
If I could only give a 0 star. The product was the poorest quality imaginable. I went through Paypal to get a refund and the cost to return the item is the same as the cost of purchasing it. Don't buy from China unless they promise to pay for return shipping. Deceptive advertising. The garland they send has about 6 inch gap between rubber-made (not plastic like advertised) pieces. Not worth the price tag.
the face cream will burn your eyes all day even when you apply sparingly 2" away from eyes. Try washing it off and using a saline to rinse eyes and philosophy face cream will not stop burning. Someone needs to start a class action. Since Coty took over the company every philosophy product line is awful. They will excuse themselves by saying the epa standards have made them change the ingredients. Don't believe it! They changed everything and added chemicals that are cost effective on purpose so they will make more money. See all of the reviews and how the products have fallen in ratings. Coty doesn't care if their customers are unhappy or hurt by their products. They are a shameful company and Christina Carlino is no better imo. When she sold without making sure products would stay the same she basically flipped off her loyal customers.
I have had the same experience as a previous poster about having negative reviews censored multiple times. Philosophy has reformulated products that simply do not smell as good as they used to many long time customers like me. This applies particularly to the Amazing Grace and Pure Grace bath and body product lines. The last time I opened a new bottle of the reformulated body wash, I was hit with a strong, unpleasant chemical odor. I mentioned this in a review, and they sent me an email indicating that they would not publish it. They did this with a previous review that I left. This is disgraceful. After years of being a loyal customer, I have moved on to other fragrance staples.
I am finding out that after many times of reaching out for my order, I’ve realized I’ve been scammed. Shame on FB to allow this, allowing this company Philosophyk to advertise to your followers. Thank goodness it was under $60 .. go to town on that .. indecent humans. I finally just ordered on Amazon and my mom will have (article) flowers this week. She’s 83….
