Absolutey stupid scam. Paid 20p one single time just to see how a picture turned out (it was absolutely shite anyway, not worth bothering). Used my google pay as I thought that would be safe, but was not told anywhere that I'd be charged £29 for an awful service I didn't ask for! I did not sign up to anything, I didnt even give my details and make an account. No confirmation email anywhere, I couldn't even remember which useless website it was as I was charged days later, the 20p payment and the full payment both had different names on my bank transfers so I couldnt find a way to contact whichever scumbag "company" had taken my money. Luckily my bank knew it was absolute garbage straight away and returned it to me. Stay faaaaar away from these idiots.
I used Picmagic to try and restore an old photo. The cost was 15 cents US. Four months later my credit card company alerted me to the fact that Picmagic had been debiting my card $50 US each month. How can companies like this one be allowed to continue to operate.
Scam! They charged 10p per photo & then within 24 hours had taken an extra £29.90 out of my bank and signed me up for a subscription that I never accepted or asked for. When I raised it with them and explained that I didn’t even have an account to be subscribed with, they completely danced around the subject. They know what they’re doing. Not once did they even claim that I had missed any small writing etc. they knew I hadn’t signed up for anything. They’ve offered me a 50% refund (as if they’re doing me a favour) and have now gone no-contact. I’m yet to receive any money back. £30 to clear a photo, which didn’t even work, is insane. I don’t know how they sleep at night but it’s made me feel a LOT better about my life. At least I’m not scamming innocent people. Low lives.
There are no 0 stars .this site is a scam..so like every ones elses story here ..i agreed to pay 10 cents to generate 1 image as a be all and done all.however the next day these bastards decided to charge me 43 CAD for whatever reason known to them.my bank blocked it and now I have cancel my credit card and request a new one
Same as most everyone else on here. I paid $0.10 to enhance one picture (didn’t work). Then, 24 hours later, they charged my account $49.90. I didn’t authorize the charge, didn’t sign up for any trial that I failed to cancel, didn’t agree to a darn thing except to pay 10 cents for a single photo, yet they charged me. I emailed “customer service” immediately when I saw the charge, but got no reply. Called the number that showed next to charge on my banking app and it went straight to some janky voicemail that said there are no representatives available to take my call. Ended up disputing the charge with my bank, which required canceling my debit card.
Do not engage with this company at all. A complete scam. Paid for a 10p photo which was incredibly poor. But unknown to me, I had paid for a pro subscription and the next day, £49.50 came out of my bank! Did not say anywhere about this. Will be reporting to the bank as fraud
