Products are excellent, and the whole idea is great - convenience, saving money, saving planet. I have been smol customer for years now. The only downside is customer services avability (no one ever answers the phone) and issues with returns. They takes months to resolve. I'm still waiting for mine since December 2025
I subscribe to Smol for washing up liquid, washing machine pods and fabric softener. I am more than happy with all the products and feel I am being a little more planet friendly.
I have used the multi surface spray for some time now and love that I can use it for multiple jobs and it cleans thoroughly and smells amazing with no streaks or residue , plus doing my bit to reduce plastic as I love the fact it’s just a tablet you pop into water 😍👌🤩
So far I’ve tried the laundry pods, fabric conditioner, dishwasher tablets and floor cleaner.
Dishwasher tablets are great. Fabric conditioner is good too. Nice scent but I do have to use twice the amount it states to get nice smelling clothes.
Washing pods I haven’t been impressed by. Love the idea of less packaging, more eco friendly etc but my washing just never smells fresh. So I’ve ditched them and returned to fairy for now.
Floor cleaner is a bit meh too so also ditched that.
My main reason for lower rating is the slow delivery. It’s painfully slow. Given it’s a subscription, sometimes I have to request the products to be sent earlier as I’ve used more one month. There’s been a few times I’ve been down to my last 4 or 5 dishwasher tablets so I’ve gone to bring forward my order and then it takes so long to come that I end up having to buy dishwasher tablets from the supermarket as I’ve run out. It’s really annoying. Please speed up your dispatching and delivery times.
I started using Smol products a few months ago when Earth Breeze increased their prices. I’m so pleased I changed. The dishwasher tablets are amazing and I always get a brilliantly clean wash with no strange smells or tastes. Also the washing machine tablets work fabulously, with a lovely fresh clean smell. I would definitely recommend changing over. I don’t ever have to think about buying these items at the supermarket, they are just delivered monthly. All very easy and affordable.
Not for me. I found the product to be pretty standard and they arrived in a lot more packaging than I had anticipated. I got the £8 taster pack and was automatically subscribed, and soon after charged £30 and sent another delivery. I think this could have been made much clearer in the correspondence. Customer service are friendly and quick to reply though but I found the process misleading myself.
We have just received our first ''monthly'' pack of dishwasher tabs and I must confess that I was a bit surprised to discover the plan to add £1.99 for delivery in future - thats a 30% price hike albeit for a more reliable delivery service. At a guess this has been prompted by the number of past complaints about non-delivery in the recent past.
I am actually very well pleased because I can now order 4 months supply at a time and still get free tracked delivery - that has to be slightly better for the environment
Perhaps Smol should have offered tracked delivery and bulk orders as options but at the end of the day you can't please everyone whatever you do.

Great value for money, I honestly thought I would miss the usual expensive brands but we haven’t one bit.
Pots are clean, shiny where need to be and no rinsing required.
I know use smol for everything they sell cleaning wise. There straight to floor cleaner is now been mimicked by mainstream cleaners but has been so for so long in smol.
The new aluminium bottles are lovely as well as functional but until need be I won’t be swapping that’s not the smol way!!!!!
