I am really disappointed in Pinterest!! They have more ads than content. It’s not fun anymore. I end up clicking off in a very short time. Too bad. It used to be a great source for all kinds of things.
Each save requires cookie settings and then the site itself is overloaded with ads and I can hardly see what I’m looking for. 🤬🤬🤬
This website has to many Chinese firms selling poor and cheap made clothes. The clothing often say quality or luxury and often show expensive high streets shops and claimed they have these shops. But in reality the shop doesn't exist neither does the quality.
Ainsley Blake a shop it says in Yorkshire dales and the clothes designed by Yorkshire women and made by Yorkshire women. But this is untrue they don't have a shop at all. The best way to find out is to look at the return address often Shanghai in China .
Serina lane , London shows beautiful clothes but again a return address to China . Many of the shops don't even exist but they show in their websites their do .
Pinterest needs too clean up and stop the scam and untruths . If something comes from Yorkshire dales it should be the case. If London is shown as the quality shop then the item should come from this shop .
This platform appears to prioritize its liability over the real impact of shared content. They allow adult material to be uploaded and instead of taking responsibility or implementing age verification, they penalize users for content they did not create. This is enabling inappropriate content to persist.
The platform appears to prioritize its liability over the actual impact of the content shared. They allow adult material, including images of known victims of exploitation, to be uploaded. I reached out to the platform to report numerous sellers advertising jewelry with stolen images, claiming to be reputable jewelers closing down or from established outlets. After providing all relevant information, including images of my order and the subpar item received, I was disappointed by the response. The platform indicated they would forward my report but could not provide further details on any actions taken. Despite presenting evidence of multiple sellers offering the same products, my case was closed without resolution. I advise users to conduct thorough research and check reviews before purchasing, as many listings may not be legitimate.
The home feed is now overwhelmed with ads and AI-generated content, making the experience frustrating. Certain pins link to useless AI websites designed solely for traffic generation. The news of a potential acquisition by a major tech company is disheartening. If this happens, I doubt the platform will regain its former appeal. If they proceed with these changes, I will stop contributing content and using the app altogether.
This platform was once a great place for discovering and saving ideas. Now, AI moderation flags innocent content as violations and hides it from view. You can only see what gets reinstated, which is often puzzling. Meanwhile, the ads for mostly fraudulent companies are overwhelming, and the presence of AI-generated content has surged. I hope they address these issues because it used to be an enjoyable site, but it has declined significantly in recent years.
