The order was delayed, sent 8 days after I ordered, was not delivered on time, and the book appears used with a damaged cover. The customer service is completely ineffective. The response from the support team is misleading; I have returned the book and am awaiting a full refund. It’s unfair to sell a product in questionable condition as brand new and then offer only a partial price reduction. Also, if you run a bookstore, please learn how to pack your items properly.
I purchased a book at a reasonable price (not heavily discounted but fair) and did not realize I had signed up for any recurring payments. Today, I noticed a bank charge of 129 dkk. It's strange since I didn't even create an account...this feels like theft! I never agreed to any subscription; this seems deceptive and nearly fraudulent. After reading their response, I feel even more justified in my initial complaint. If they were a legitimate company, seeing how many others face the same issue, they would refund my money. Being unaware of the subscription, I never activated my account. Yet, they refuse to refund, which indicates bad faith.
Caution: Membership Scam Alert! I ordered a book from this site for 135kr. It mentioned a 'membership price,' but there was no clear information about any membership fee at the time of purchase. I unknowingly became a member, as the cost or terms were not clearly stated during the transaction or anywhere else on the site. To my surprise, I was later charged 129kr in addition to the 135kr for the book. When I contacted customer service, I was told that the 129kr was for a membership and was non-refundable! I didn’t even realize I had signed up for it. Ultimately, the book cost me almost double!
