I cannot recommend Ellie Rose, Tia and all the team at European Odyssey enough. They are professional, very responsive, and excellent to deal with. The process of moving to Portugal can be very stressful and Ellie and her team are excellent at relieving some of the stress of dealing with the documentation. European Odyssey reference I write as a reference for European Odyssey. One need hardly seek references for a firm with a 100% success rate. But I am pleased to provide details of my experience. Very early on in my move to Portugal, I realized that I would need assistance with the paperwork required to apply for a visa and later, residency. People say that you can apply “on your own” and I suppose that’s true, But why do you need to know every nuance behind every word in every sentence in a process that you’re going to do once? Especially as the climate continues to change as it has over the past 6-7 months, when rules are published but not enforced, when clerks and mid-level administrators willfully over-ride black and white government directives.European Odyssey has been a beacon of sanity in this process. Ellie Rose and her staff are virtually always available; a same day response (or at least acknowledgement) is the norm. European Odyssey provides check lists, preparatory meetings, and final check meetings at the client’s convenience. I worked with European Odyssey on my visa and residency applications for Portugal. I got to take advantage of the support tools that they have created (check lists, date trackers, status meetings, etc.) and their nuanced understanding of the Portuguese immigration system. I recommend them without reservation and would definitely hire the firm again.
We have been considering retiring to Portugal for well over a year now. We researched many relocation and immigration experts and European Odyssey was one that shone above all others. We were not disappointed. Ellie Rose has been an absolute diamond, she has been so patient with my constant questions. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly.
