Review Time
It's a cool idea but the execution was far from optimal. First, it took a month to get it. I received probably 10 emails offering to speed up the process for a fee. I didn't pay to expedite the order because I ordered it in plenty of time to receive it by Christmas (a month). But this company was apparently shocked that more orders came in at Christmas time so their production schedule went way long. They did manage to get it done before Christmas; the 20th in fact. But they decided to ship it Media Mail to save themselves a few dollars. So, of course, it arrived several days after Christmas. The second problem is with the product itself. The sound is so quiet that I have to crank the stereo volume to the max and can still only hear it at low volume. I was offered better sound quality for a fee. I declined because I'm not an audiophile and felt like that would be wasted on me.I do not know if paying extra will result in getting sound worth listening to and in a reasonable amount of time. But I do know that if you don't pay extra, you get crap sound weeks later than promised. I also know that I contacted the company a week before Christmas to inquire why it was taking so long and was told that they had an unexpected increase in sales and production was behind. So they knew they were going to be late for Christmas and still chose to save a few dollars by using the slowest possible shipping method.That is a company that does not care about its customers. Apparently all their effort goes into optimizing their marketing for revenue generation and very little into the product itself.
I ordered and my credit card was charged 25 days ago. I still haven't received my order. They won't return my emails. When I try to track the status of my order, it says my order number is not found. They keep sending me emails asking me to FASTTRACK my order, by paying more for expediting. Why would I give them more money for a product I'll never see?! This place is a scam. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Shame on me for trusting a website with no phone number.
I haven't received my vinyl yet so hopefully Ill be able to return with an update. I placed my order on November 17th and paid priority processing. I understand it must be chaotic with the holidays so I figured this would ensure I would get it in time. During checkout, it seemed as though the priority processing didn't go through so I ended up paying for it again-- ultimately getting charged $30 for priority processing. I'm annoyed at this point but I figured that I could dispute it later, and honestly, if it showed up in the next 2 weeks, I might not have even disputed it. As of December 17th, it still said that my order was received and I got no additional updates. I emailed the support team with my order information asking for updates and addressing the double charge on processing although my order did not feel prioritized at this point. I did not get a response but suddenly my vinyl is in transit. No word on the processing refund. I am not someone who writes negative reviews so I hope to be able to come back with raving reviews about the quality of the product. All of this to say-- dont be fooled by messages telling you to add priority processing after check out, keep an eye on your delivery, and be in touch with support if your not seeing updates on your order.
I ordered a custom Vinyl a few weeks ago and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the end product! The vinyl photo is high quality as well as the track list. The staff responds very quickly if there are any concerns/questions and was very helpful throughout the whole process. I recommend this as an amazing gift for someone! :)
