If I could give a Zero I would, I never got my package and it’s 4 weeks now!!! I tried to contact them, have left plenty of emails and no one has got back to me, phone rings out!! The company I ordered with have had no luck communicating with them either.They are totally unreliable, inefficient and lack of communication.
I have never received my parcel, In the first instance: as to the tracking records of GLS, the parcel: 21598355839 appeared to be delivered to on: 29/12/2025 at 15:17, and signed by a mysterious: Monica s. In the second occasion, (when the retailer replaced the-never-delivered-item and dispatched it again), according to the tracking records of GLS, the parcel: 21598539562 appeared to be delivered to on: 09/01/2026 at 14:28, and signed by someone: richard va fagan. I have no idea who these persons are, they are not among my neighbours or someone I would have known. As I was expecting the parcels and was tracking the GLS regularly, I could see the information on the day of expected delivery that the parcels were being on the van and out for delivery, I had been at home and ready to receive a call from a delivery person both times, on 29/12/2025 and on 09/01/2026, respectively.However, nobody had ever rung me, there was no way the driver couldn't find the address location, a complete address was printed on the docket of the parcel, including the Eircode and my phone number, if one pastes the Eircode into Google Maps, it will be led right to the doorsteps. I live in a very centralised area, the building is by the main road and easy to access.The manner, we are being treated as the customers is humiliating and appalling.The relevant Irish customer service standards and safety State's supervising authorities should interfere and estimate if certain businesses are carrying out their supposed services according to their licence terms and conditions.I'm really sorry to see, so many customers (just like me) faced similar scenarios when GLS as a carrier has been involved, but I would like to encourage to keep reporting the instances, when our customers' rights are neglected or violated. This cannot be a coincidence, it rather indicates that the GLS is incapable of delivering their obligations and services to the customers, both to the retailers and to the buyers.Taking into account the number of reports here by the customers over the time, it is appears to be a systematic approach how the delivery services are being carried out by GLS and it's pathetic that the carrier can get easily away with that.I would suggest to everyone, if the retailer that you have narrowed down to purchase something from, is cooperating with GLS as a partner for delivering the goods, please reconsider if you should go ahead and take a risk.Many thanks!
Like all other reviews, trying to speak to someone is near on impossible (always number 40 in queue. My order was collected on Dec 20th. Now on Jan 9th (3 weeks later) still no sign. Latest update was on Sun 4th at 8.20pm stating "order was out for delivery today"?. Order containes a component required to operate a device we have had since early December for an Xmas gift.
In the last month, I've had two packages I've been waiting to receive go missing in the GLS Dublin warehouse. The first was a Smyths package pre-Christmas that sat in their warehouse for over 3 days only for Smyths to issue me with a refund and request a return to sender. This time, it's fuel I ordered on December 30th. The initial due date was Jan 6th. Then 7th-8th. It's now January 9th, and it's been sitting in their warehouse since the 6th. I've repeatedly tried to contact them via email, and there has been zero response. AVOID at all costs.
GLS are the absolute pits! I ordered from a company and only AFTERWARDS when I received the shipped email, did I realise they used GLS. If I knew this initially I wouldn't have given my business to the company. Roll on a few days and just got a blatant lie in an email saying I was not here, despite being here all day and camera proof to show nobody called! I go out of my way to not do business with ANY company who uses GLS for deliveries as this has been going on for years
So im waiting for package from December , package arrived 4th into Dublin from France , i call them few times yesterday finally got thru they ensure me it will be delivered, today i got notification out for delivery but of course never arrived its fell like scam stay away
