Its not very good value for money

Its not very good value for money. If in the year i spend the maximum £1k on mechanical work, i will only save £250.

Will be actively avoiding online shops using GLS

Will not be shopping with any online store that only offers GLS. On second attempt driver gave 6 hour delivery window. Somehow between three housemates who all work from home the delivery was still missed (which isn't the drivers fault obviously) because maybe someone went to the toilet at an inopportune time or something else mundane. GLS now expect me to make my way to a very inconveniently located depot and are offering no other options. Not even delivery to a "parcelshop" drop off point. At least with An Post the depos are reasonably located and parcel motel used to be willing to drop off to a nearby parcel motel if they missed you. Customer service was also very condescending.

Parcel not recieved

Given my address and eircode a day for when I'd be home an agreed day for delivery. I never recieved parcel, contacted them numerous times and again been told it be delivered and again it wasnt. Unclear if I will ever recieve my parcel

***If you read this review and find it useful.in making a decision, let me know by giving it a 👍🏻 below.***I required a change of delivery address and this was achieved.If you've ever dealt with couriers you will know how herculean a task this actually is.GLS respond to emails (thank you Jennifer in Dublin) answer calls and transfer you without incident to their depot on the other side of the country, where they actually answer, even while in the warehouse, go back to the office, and change your address.Thank you to both call takers. Both of whom were polite and courteous.Overall an outstanding if not miraculous encounter with couriers, given my recent experience with the root vegetables at Caulfields.10 out of 10 GLS
