I would give this service ZERO stars if it were an option. Don't be misled by the flashy website; they are offering subpar products, shipped from who knows where. My order was late, overpriced, arrived in pieces, and the quality was terrible. I rarely get tricked, but this experience was a real letdown; a hard lesson learned. Consider yourself warned!
If I could give this company 0 I would. The Perpetual Calendar I ordered is cheap, nasty and not made of wood. I paid £38.99 for it; the exact same thing is on Temu for £8.99. When it arrived it was smothered in Chinese characters and anything but British. And forget about returns or science gifts U.K. The item has to be sent back to France with tracking at my own expense. When it arrives I can ask for a refund of the calendar but not the postage. What a scam this company is running.
I’m hoping some of the recent reviews are not as bad as they sound. I ordered a jellyfish lava lamp for my daughter as it helps with her sensory needs. Was told that orders are despatched within 24/48 hours of order. A week later and still can’t get an answer from them.If it is a scam site they have until the end of the week to confirm a tracking number or I will be retracting the payment under the consumer law act
One of the items from my order unfortunately arrived broken. I contacted customer service, where a very kind woman answered in less than two hours, and she immediately reimbursed me after I sent proof photos, and gave me a promo code so I could reorder the item without paying shipping fees. I therefore placed a second order and this time the item arrived (very quickly) in one piece. I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the customer service, so I won’t hesitate to order again from the site!
Gift purchased in early Jan and was issued with an order number. Time banding on delivery was too wide, followed up with request for more information 3 weeks later. Was told that delivery would now be "by the end of Feb". When threatened with a Paypal complaint they stated that they "have had a relocation of the logistics warehouse which has caused shipping delays" and refunded my order.
Ordered £45 worth of science gifts for my son’s 18th birthday in mid Feb 2025. Goods ordered start of January in plenty of time. Despite email explaining good on the way the next day post order, then another two weeks later. I received nothing !!! Asked for my money back and there was no quibble, money returned. Very disappointed ☹️ with this company hence one star review.
