Project abroad Nepal Medical review

The transition from the airport to the hotel was very easy and swift, I was able to navigate out of the airport very easily because of the instructions given to me on the website. The actual work we had to do was also very enjoyable and fun and helped me see things in a different light. Meeting new people was naturally scary at first but being around so many people that share the same Interests and passion as you help me open up and connect with them leaving me with friends I will never forget.

Projects abroad is incredible

Projects abroad is incredible! They think through every scenario and the staff are so professional but kind. My placement at my trip was perfect and I loved my whole experience. 10/10 I would do this again

Micro finance & safari tour

On weekdays, individual interviews with women who run small business was insightful. I learnt how financial loan offered by Project Abroad works and what kinds of difficulties women have. I also did presentations for women and youth groups. I was a presenter but also learners about business knowledge, so two-way style was so helpful for me to learn micro finances. On weekends, I joined a safari tour offered by Project Abroad. A tour guide led us to a wonderful tour and we saw a lot of wild animals such as lions, hippos etc. It was also nice opportunity to communicate with other volunteers. I’d appreciate this opportunity

Really fun experience!

I really liked the activities that we did. I loved the anatomy class, national park safari tour, the souvenir shopping, the dance and yoga classes along with the other lectures and going to OT. It was really interesting going to the hospitals but I didn't really get to see much because it was pretty slow during the days I went to some of the departments. The staff were helpful and made the program more enjoyable. I really liked seeing the elephants by the riverbank at the Rhino lodge, it was a really unique and cool experience. There were some things that I think needed to be clarified on the packing list e.g. gloves for anatomy class, shawl is optional, don't need gardening gloves, some of the things on there are only needed for other programs like the physiotherapy and care which was confusing. The other volunteers there really made the trip. I think having a group of that size was good and I think I was really lucky in that the people who went were really cool and in general very nice.
