Review Time
The apartment was as promised comfortable with all needs met. It met our needs of staying the city without paying for a hotel for 3 times the price. It is really well located near the train and restaurants . Not far from Central Park as well.
After a terrible experience with one of Furnished Quarters' competitors, it was a relief to work with FQ. Emails were answered promptly. The property we rented was clean and as described and generally of good quality (even if the kitchen could have been outfitted a bit more fully - although we probably cook more than most folks do). There were no hidden fees, and the staff was courteous and helpful. Would definitely use them again if we need another short-term, furnished rental.
Overall this experience so far is a 2. While the apartment is thankfully clean, the hallway, stairs, and front entrance are filthy!! Not sure they are ever cleaned. Awful- especially for the high rent! Friendly staff who then don’t get much done and there is miscommunication. We are still waiting on a heater that works. They did bring the missing items (hair dryer and kettle) in a day or so.
Furnished Headquarters was very communicative and transparent. The apartment building had elevated amenities and the unit was well equipped with essentials and nicely decorated for a homey experience during my stay. I was always alerted with ample notice for scheduled housekeeping, inspections, and move in/out instructions.Top notch!!
Booking on line was very easy and the help pushing the application through was very helpful. The location is great for my wife and I. The concierge at the via was very helpful and welcoming. We needed to vacuum the carpet. The walls and sofa are becoming a little dirty and scratched. The accessories are a nice touch. Bed and furniture are very comfortable. Kitchen is stocked so we can cook and make some meals. Thank you.
I like the overall layout and appliances. It's not to loud.The thing that I really don't like is bed that is uneven, probably to old. Needs to be replaced. And there are from time to time big roaches that I don't have idea where they are coming from cus everything is closed. Also I am very clean person so I doubt they come to feed on me and my leftovers. Bumps on the roads and in garage are to big and annoying. How can I get new bed, I mean mattress? That is really a thing that would be useful cus I am a bad sleeper and feel all this ups and downs on the mattress
