I did a two-week medical internship in Nepal with Projects Abroad and gained a lot of knowledge and insight, both medically and culturally. From the very beginning, I received amazing support from my supervisor, Soufiane Mbarki, who made the preparations smooth and stress-free. Once in Nepal, the coordinators were always available and supportive, quickly resolving any small issues that came up. I felt well looked after throughout my stay, and my host family made the experience even more special. Overall, it was a very positive and valuable experience that I can highly recommend.
My 16 years old daughter recently completed a 2-week building project in Kathmandu with Projects Abroad, and I’m happy to say she had a truly positive experience.She felt safe, supported, and well looked after from start to finish. The local staff in Nepal were kind, responsible, and always present, which really helped her feel comfortable, especially being far from home.The project itself was well designed and thoughtfully executed, giving her a sense of purpose and achievement. She came back with great memories and a deep appreciation for the experience.A big thank you to the entire team at Projects Abroad for making this opportunity so special. The transition from the airport to the hotel was very easy and swift, I was able to navigate out of the airport very easily because of the instructions given to me on the website. The actual work we had to do was also very enjoyable and fun and helped me see things in a different light. Meeting new people was naturally scary at first but being around so many people that share the same Interests and passion as you help me open up and connect with them leaving me with friends I will never forget.
