How stupid must be those who buying from this scammer place.
This auction not only cheating people on the item description but they also cheating foreign buyers on VAT refund.
RIDICULOUS THIS IS ALL I CAN SAY.
Shame that no institution who would be interested in taking down such scam places

I won my bed just by luck, cause I’m not good on the computer and I kept having trouble getting back to where I needed to be and I’m still not good on the computer and I’m trying to send them a message and I still don’t know how but the auction was good

I bought a piece of equipment on…

I bought a piece of equipment on salvagesale.com. When I paid for it and received an invoice with pickup location and contact. I phoned contact and made pickup arrangements. When I arrived and phoned the contact we both were surprised that the pick up location was in a differant state over a thousand miles away. I then phoned Ritchie brothers who are the auction company that runs salvagesale auction sight. I was informed that I could drive the extra miles or hire a company and I would be reimbursed. I elected to hire it done and now Ritchie brothers refuses to do anything to compensate me.

Seamless transaction from research to picking up the equipment or truck

We have used Ritchie Bros. numerous times to purchase trucks and equipment.Ritchie Bros. website and platform makes researching simple. Very detailed information and pictures. Once the auction is done, the processing time is quick and within days you can pick up your equipment or truck. Picking up at the auction site is quick and easy. Very helpful staff on site. Overall, the experience is seamless and well done

Bought several items at the Davenport…

Bought several items at the Davenport FL location through online auction it’s a few hours from me so driving there and waiting in line was a bit crazy but they were very helpful if your patient . Make sure to print any and all paper work and bring it with you they let me drive through the sales yard to get checked in with proof of purchase got my paper work done and was the third person back out the gate . Everyone was nice as could be thank you

Bought an auction vehicle

Bought an auction vehicle. No license plates. I didn't receive the title until a month after I bought it. It took 6 emails and a half-dozen phone calls to get it. Tax office wouldn't transfer the title without a Power of Attorney letter and a Bill of Sale. I didn't receive either. After another 2 months and twice the number of phone calls and emails, I was told, "We told you this would take a while." I asked for their legal department and corporate contact information, but they wouldn't oblige. My emails were ignored. I finally contacted the corporate office of the seller of the vehicle. I got the paperwork I needed, two weeks later. 3 months had passed. I had to pay for a temporary plate which was $30. I had to pay late fees and interest of $130 for late transfer, even when I had proof that it was not my fault. Horrible customer service. Horrible experience.
