10 days on the move with each day being a fantastic experience. Each accommodation was great with the stand out being Nil Sisila in the Yala National Park area. The husband and wife team created fantastic meals and are just lovely people.
Our driver, guide and new friend Saman, made our time away special. He was able to solve any small problems that do occur in this part of the world, with speed and a smile. He was punctual, polite, knowledgeable, well dressed and a very caring person. We highly recommend Saman. He is a credit to the company.

Wow i do not know where to start. This has been an absolutly wonderfull holiday ftom start to finish. The hotels,the sceenry, the people. This is the firsy time we have been to Sri Lanka and must likely not the last. But we cannot finish this review without mentioning Rediscover Journeys and our guide Tissa Athukorala. They did the utmost to make this trip wonderfull. The slightest hint about anything and they took action. From mentioning that the madress in our room was a bit hard and wupti the hotel changed the madress, to a more serious problem with a hotel. They manageed for us to change rooms for the second night because the hotel did not live up to expectation. Thank you afrom the bortom of your hearts for being there for us. We will definatly mention you both if we here of anyone going to Sri Lanka

Amitha was dedicated to ensure us a memorable trip and took care of everything: transportation, water, fruit, and - best of all - guiding with a great knowledge about culture, geography and exciting places to visit.
Also, it was a very safe experience. When our daughter went I’ll due to an acute gastro-enteritis, Amitha arranged a visit to a doctor within an hour, and even had a contact to a competent pediatrist in a nearby city, so that our daughter was taken very good care of.
We can definitely recommend Rediscover journeys and Amitha for those, who wish to visit the spectaculaire country Sri Lanka in the safe hands of a guided tour.

We went on an eight days trip in Sri Lanka arranger by Stjernegaard and with Sampat as our local guide and driver. Sampat told us a lot about local history, religion, nature e.t.c. The trip went through Singiriya, Kandy, Ella and Galle. All were nice and with Sampat taking good care of us.
Very good company, where the customers wants and needs are really the main focus. They frequently check up on you as well! Very remarkable is also one’s guide, who will not just be your chauffeur, but also give you tips, teach you about the history and so on and give examples of thing you can do (which you won’t find yourself). Our guide/driver Janith was simply amazing and had the best recommendations and stories to tell. We also had a lot of laughs with him😁
We, a group of 6 Danes, had the pleasure of having Jithendra Saman Kumara Dissanayake as a very safe, efficient and good driver for 10 days.He is a very helpful and kind English speaking person bringing us around on this magnificent country showing authentic small places very few tourist come too - small road instead of the highway - and eager to tell about plants, birds and animals on our way, not to mention the numerous stops for tasting local specialities. He also quickly arranged for bookings outside our stipulated program.We highly recommend you to ask for him if you need to enjoy your holiday without any worries.
