This has been the most frustrating customer service experience I’ve encountered. The bar staff are not only unfriendly but also openly aggressive. It felt like a strategy to appeal to those who relish being treated poorly. If that's not your preference, I strongly recommend steering clear. Definitely not worth any stars.
Following an exhausting trip to London, where we explored numerous pubs and eateries, this was our final lunch stop before returning to our home country. We thought it would just be a simple pub meal and then we’d be on our way. To our surprise, we had to head to the basement for food due to a few available spots, and we entered a charming English room where a very welcoming lady guided us to our cozy seats. We placed our orders, and when the food arrived, we were thrilled to find generous portions of delicious pies and other dishes at very reasonable prices. This pub offered the best food we've experienced in London, far surpassing even the so-called award-winning restaurant in the area. We frequent London often, and we will certainly revisit this place and share this hidden gem with our friends who love the city. Thank you for a delightful and satisfying conclusion to our holiday.

If I were in charge, I would be worried about this pub's future. The staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming. Security seemed overly strict, turning away numerous patrons without justification. I witnessed several people being denied entry while there were available standing areas. The bartender was curt and uncommunicative, slamming down the cash register and tossing the receipt at me without a word. After sitting down, we were abruptly informed that our table was reserved, which seemed odd in such a small venue. I would recommend avoiding this pub.
