Review Time
The customer service you receive is spectacular!! I placed an order and some of the items were back ordered due to high demand which caused some delays in getting the items shipped. Pepe Gusto regularly kept me updated and quickly responded to any emails I sent out. I can’t say enough great things about the customer service and how easy it is to work with them. Quality of the products- OMG there is nothing like this! To date I have bought, meats, cheeses, croissants, balsamic and oils as gifts and for myself. I have received nothing but rave reviews, myself included. I really like the fact that they source from small vendors as it really really makes a difference in the quality of the products you receive. Can’t’ wait to place my next order
EDIT: SINCE POSTING MY REVIEW I HAVE SINCE RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM PEPEGUSTO AND MY ORDER HAS BEEN RECEIVED.Order placed in August 2024. Requested 3 updates by email all of which were ignored. Received a response in mid September advising that all stock was exhausted but all orders were being fulfilled including mine. I requested a further update at the end of September and again in early October and both emails were ignored once again. On 9th October I emailed once again for an update as it had been 6 weeks since I placed my order. I received a response that pepegusto always deliver. When I queried a shipment date again my email was ignored. I have requested 5 further updates since all have been ignored. No customer service and no refund as I requested. Will never be placing an order with this company again.
EDIT: after posting my review, PepeGusto responded promptly and offered a refund. This matter has been resolved.—-My order was never received. I have proof of communication as I have kept records of all of our WhatsApp communications and Daniel keeps saying that the order will ship, that the item has arrived in shop, and it never comes. My emails and Facebook messages never get a response. I have been waiting since May for an expensive cheese order that was ordered with express shipping. This website is fraudulent, avoid at all costs. Pepegusto, if you’re listening, I just want my order! Please send it!
If it could be a zero.....I never write a review unless it is positive, but in this case- I need to be honest! So disappointed that PepeGusto did not send my goods or give any customer service as expected.An order was placed on May 14 with a confirmation received. After 10 days of no tracking or other information, I emailed and "Marcello" stated that they were overwhelmed with orders and that mine would be shipped out. Nonetheless, one month later and they will not return emails or chats. They CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD BUT DID NOT SHIP OUT MY ORDER!Obviously my only recourse is to file a dispute with my credit card. Any decent business would at least communicate with a customer.
PepeGusto never disappoints! Although I wish the travel journey was more kind. The beautiful chocolate egg I ordered arrived in pieces. The box that it was shipped in was all bent, I know this probably made my egg break apart. No replacement
