Review Time
Very poor Customer Service. I ordered an advent calendar and saved it until last week for a Girls Night Out. Fully six of the boxes were completely EMPTY and several filled boxes were cut down the side with a box cutter. I was very embarrassed! I never received a reply from Customer Service. Last time I will order from this company.
The company is garbage. I used to buy their products when I lived in New York City 20 years ago and they were selling at the market on Union Square. Things were great then, you could just pick up your product and go. Now that they have gotten bigger their Customer Service is unprofessional and ineffective. I purchased something online from them 10 years ago and it was so bad that I did not go back until a month ago. A month ago they had a sale and I decided to give them another chance. And they dropped the ball yet again. Two items were missing from my package. I contacted them and they/Claire responded and appeared not to know a thing about it because she asked ME to send her the master packing list that was in the package. I sent it to her and it clearly showed that the two items were not shipped in the package. Claire then told me that the items were on back order (news to me) and would ship when they were available. No expectation date given. A little time goes by and I email Claire saying that this is taking too long, I would like a refund instead. Claire responds and informs me that she would need to speak with “upper management“ and for me to be patient because it would take “some time”. Really????!! What year is this? Am I dealing with a business or am I dealing with lemonade stand with upper management. I inevitably had to file a case with PayPal and am awaiting my money back because Claire and upper management never got back to me, never sent the product to me, and never issued a refund to me.
I used to buy their products back in around 2014 in Asia and recently I purchased from them for the first time in the USA. I bought two items online but only received one, contacted customer service and they told me it was a backorder (I only received one tracking number and didn't know about the backorder thing). Received the rest within two weeks. Happy about customer service and also the products I purchased. Will definitely be buying from them in the future.
Sabon is by far my favorite line of bath & body products. Everything is made with natural ingredients & is free from harsh chemicals & additives. Their scents are beautifully unique & pleasing. I love & use ALL of their products for myself & as gifts! They are always a hit as a gift! My favorite scent is the vanilla-patchouli-lavender in anything & everything. Lotion, bath salts, room diffuser! Its worth noting that I have super sensitive skin & these products have NEVER been an irritant. I'm just sad the store only exists in NYC. I don't live there anymore so I can't just walk into their beautifully designed spaces to wash my hands with the scrubbing salts and soaps they keep out. I now have to order online, but so be it. If you're in NYC they are worth a visit! My favorite!
I am totally addicted to the Sabon hand sanitizer! It doesn't have any nasty chemicals in it and I have noticed if we forget to pass it around, someone ends up with a cold! It's great for going out to eat or sneaking a snack in the car. It smells wonderful and makes everyone smile. When I share it with friends, they can't believe it's a sanitizer--they love it! I keep a supply around as everyone wants to use it.
The website is great...my only complaint is that it seems like if they are out of something , the product just disappears--I wanted the Verbena sanitizer but couldn't find it, so had to order another one--but it's great too. But would have liked to know when more Verbena was coming...
