Speed and simplicity is great.

I like the speed and simplicity of getting this loan. I like that I can use my crypto balance as collateral. Being in California apparently added some more documentation requirements and that was really the only unpleasant task in getting this loan. Obviously SALT Lending has no control over what California requires, so this is just a heads up.

Very good experience

Very good experience. Reached out with a question and got a really good call back. Very minor issue is the dashboard balances are not as clear and intuitive as I would like, but just a minor quibble. Very good product.

I have been watching Salt since 2017…

I have been watching Salt since 2017 and was unable to get a loan because I'm a resident of CA. Salt recently got licensed in CA and I did my first loan with them and everything went well. I chose Salt because they have been around since bitcoin-collateralized lending began and sailed through the FTX, 3AC, Block I et al debacle without losing a single SAT. Reputation matters in this newly emerging sector. Highly recommended.

The loan application process was…challenging but all worked out.

The loan application process was frustrating. Eventually we needed to have assistance. Theonyl options were to use the Chat Bot which basically said I would receive an email within 24 hours. Tried calling the telephone number but it was a phone tree that led to nowhere. Eventually we had got set an appt time for support. That had some bumps also. We never received the link for the meeting. It all worked out int he end but the loan application process took almost a week to resolve. Hoping this can be streamlined and easier to navigate in the immediate future.
