I expected to receive an "in stock" doll with an estimated arrival date of December 10. However, a week-long delay occurred, and the holiday season complicated matters further. The representative was quite responsive in explaining the situation, but it shouldn't be labeled as in stock if it's not physically available in the country. On the bright side, the doll was offered at half price and finally arrived on January 15. I had considered various brands, but nothing compared to seeing the dolls displayed at a local expo in November. Viewing promotional images online doesn't quite capture the experience and carries too much risk. One of the showcased dolls was impressive and more affordable. Upon receiving it, despite minor damage to the box, the doll itself was nearly perfect. However, one wrist was a bit loose. Unfortunately, I received the wrong wig and eye color; it was supposed to have brown hair and eyes, but I got silver hair and blue eyes instead. I've reached out to the company regarding this error, and they will assist in resolving it. I also swapped the TPE head for a silicone one for now. I will see how I feel about the new head once it has the correct hair and eyes. There aren't many vendors in the country, and I prefer to work with one endorsed by a community forum to avoid customs fees and taxes. I will continue to engage with this service, but when selling in-stock dolls, it should be assumed that any selected doll is available locally and can be delivered within a week.
