I called Sheilas’ Wheels to get a quote for a multi‑car policy, and the experience was extremely frustrating. The telephone IVR system was long, confusing, and caused unnecessary stress for both me and my wife. After finally getting through, the adviser asked me the same questions the IVR had already asked, which made the whole system feel pointless.
I was then told it would be better to do the quote online rather than speak to a human being. I followed that advice, but the online system was also difficult to navigate. After completing everything, the quote was £500 more expensive than two other competitors—even with your so‑called 15% discount. Overall, the process was a waste of time.
Sheila’s wheels cancelled me two weeks ago and I only got a letter today letting me know I have been cancelled . This company cannot get any worse.!! Just to make u all aware . I had no email no text to let me know I wasn’t insured ! So unprofessional.
Cheap insurance, but the company feels very predatory. High cancellation fees and lost deposits make it hard to leave, even if you find a better deal elsewhere. It seems designed to lock customers in rather than provide a fair service. While the premiums may be low, the restrictive terms make it frustrating and costly if your circumstances change.
The process of getting insurance was remarkably straightforward. After purchasing the vehicle, I had coverage within 10 minutes and was able to drive off. Amazing experience! The price for including a learner driver was also excellent.
