You end up spending about two hours driving and one hour shooting, all while using your own professional gear (camera, lens, gimbal, and microphone), for just $50 AUD. It’s frustrating that they defend this offer as if it’s acceptable. I strongly recommend that all photographers and videographers avoid companies with this exploitative attitude. This is not the standard one would expect in Australia. Additionally, I encourage Australian businesses needing photo or video services to collaborate directly with local talent rather than supporting companies that profit by underpaying and exploiting creatives. Personally, I choose to boycott businesses that operate in such a ruthless manner, taking advantage of local talent.
