I wish to retract and sincerely apologize to SimilarWorlds for an unfounded accusation of illegal activity on their site. There is no illegal activity known to SimilarWorlds staff. I'm sure they would address it and rectify with proof. I had none. I impulsively acted out of anger and frustration for being suspended that I felt was grossly one sided. I would also at this time apologize to TrustPilot for using their trusted site for my thoughtless childish act of revenge.I will no longer bother SimilarWorlds with any more of this pettiness.
So i love similar worlds. I use it as a place to anonymously express my emotions and document my writings where they can also be read... Its a solid, decent wedsite. My only issue isn't a fault of the actual website, but rather people who use it. Sometimes im left wishing that other members wouldn't post such boring posts and writings.Similarworlds has done good at replacing experience project.Thank you for being great.
I was invited to Similar Worlds while Experience Project was in it's death throws. I love the site, and I applaud the staff for their open mindedness. Of course they won't tolerate bullying or hate speech, but they don't censor opinions that are not in lockstep with the status quo. The bells and whistles are great too. I personally think they are better than Experience Project in that regard. SW is a fantastic site, that in some small ways is helping to make the world a better place. It really is nice for the world to sit for a cup of coffee and a chat.
Similar Worlds is a good place to pass some time. There are a number of regulars who you will soon come to recognize. There will definitely be people you like as well as people you don't like. People go there because they are bored or lonely or they want to help others. Or because they want to argue politics, or tell/hear a good joke, or procrastinate about real life. Just be careful not to be sucked in too deep!
Joined after it's predecessor The experience project closed. Like all social media sites, SimilarWorlds has it's good days and it's bad days. At it's worst it seems over-populated by irritating Trolls and annoying 'single issue posters' with nothing of value to say. At it's best, SimilarWorlds has some fantastic contributors whose advice and friendly nature have made me happy to still be a part of it all this time.
