Complete rip-off. Content is garbage and I can’t get over how much they charge. You have to pay extra to listen so some channels when they used to be all included. There are much better streaming services for way less money… heck, free radio is better than satellite radio. And when the say commercial fee it’s a lie
Holy mackerel, they make it SO difficult to cancel a subscription! Similar to other reviews, they use these incessant tactics to try and get you to not cancel and will compel you to call or chat with a rep. At least my rep was very friendly, and I am sure forced to go through a script where I literally had to type "Please cancel my plan" four times in response to each of their 'wait but stay' pricing. Then they keep you on the chat waiting for the confirmation number regarding cancellation and hope that you disconnect so that they do not have to complete the cancelation. It was a crazy experience to try and get them to stop the auto renewal and cancel my subscription.
This is not good business SiriusXM, and makes it real easy for your long term customers to never want to do business with you again.
Every time I receive a call from an agent, they are located in Egypt. This is from a Canadian service, and I am uncomfortable sharing any personal information with someone in another country. Perhaps they should consider hiring representatives within Canada.
You can't cancel your subscription online; you must contact a support representative who spends the next 30 minutes trying to upsell you. This has been the most aggressive company I've ever encountered. They also refuse to refund disputed charges on the same day, citing a no-refund policy, even when the charge is unauthorized. AVOID GIVING THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!
I accepted a one-year subscription offer and paid my bill through autopay for that term only. I never received a renewal notice, just an unexpected charge of $26 on my credit card. They renewed my subscription at a much higher rate without any prior notification. When I contacted support for a refund on a renewal I never authorized, I was informed of their no-refund policy. This is not how responsible companies operate. Be ready for surprise charges and zero flexibility in correcting them if you sign up.
I purchased a lifetime subscription for three radios years ago, but now they refuse to honor that agreement. The customer service was rude and claimed it was no longer available, dismissing my concerns. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY!
