The website editing is good, though not many features can be unlocked with free mode. However, after a while, my best websites kept showing up as "been removed". There is no way to fix it and I didn't delete my own website. I contacted the help team but it has been over 2 months and they haven't got back to me. Losing this much work is frustrating and I wouldn't recommend this.
You might have noticed that the platform is heavily promoted, which could lead you to think it’s reliable. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. I encountered a representative who seemed friendly and professional at first, but once he received my payment, he redirected me to someone else who was neither helpful nor professional. After that, the initial representative showed little to no interest in my project. As of December 25, 2025, I still have an incomplete website, despite my efforts to resolve the matter since July 7, 2025.
Avoid this service at all costs! The web layouts they offer feel outdated, as if they belong to a decade ago, and the features and tools are far from functional. When I raised concerns with their support team, the only solution they offered was to charge extra for their own designers... absolutely not! As a computer engineer with extensive experience in software development and web design, I initially chose this platform for its prebuilt structure to streamline my work and focus on more productive tasks. It was a grave error! I’ll have to create a website from scratch and invest the necessary time. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME ON THIS SERVICE. Hire a local web designer who can understand your needs and provide valuable advice. This option deserves to be discarded.
Ive done multiple sites with site123 - they used to be decent but over time the quality of support has gotten really really poor ( I recently fell on a "Sandra" and she was completely unable to help me and unresponsive). You're better off going to these Go-Daddys or other site builders..
Site123 should be ashamed of themselves i have been a paying customer for 4 years with a website and 2 email accounts... Then out of the blue my email storage was full up, i contacted support for 4 weeks every day only to be told we are looking into it.. Then my emails went down for 48 hours costing me thousands of pounds in lost business. Again same old story we are looking in to the issues and for 4 weeks.... In that time i had to pay for another year to keep my two email addresses...... 14 days cooling off period thats a joke 4 weeks and still not solved... I have now took my 2 email addresses somewhere yes and moving my website from these cowboys... No phone support no customer service avoid at all costs....-10 review.
I had this site 123 websites from 2020 to June 2025 but their services is terrible and they take every year subscription money without my authorisation from my bank by force .and without my agreed and approval amount.My last subscription expired June and did not wish to renew.Disputes my cancellation and not renew they attempted to take subscription fee 5 times but my bank stopped payment in last 3 months one time I managed to get full refund after they took money.I think this company has too many dishonest (staff) employees and they try to scram’s their past customers like me and trying to take their money without any customer’s approval .So I don’t recommend anyone to use this site123 website builder company because they are not good and not trustworthy company but they will try to blackmail any customer who use their services in the past and request everyone to beware and stay away from this company because you may get scam and suffer like me
I've had a website and email through Site123 for about six years. It's mostly been alright, but recently, I've been unable to access my email on and off. This happened twice within the past week. The first time they fixed it within half and hour or so. No problem, I understand things go wrong sometimes. However, it happened again six days later, and I now haven't been able to access my business email for over 24 hours. They haven't responded to my enquiry this morning. Don't sign up with this company. They will do what they can to ruin your business and say things like "I'll pass that feedback along to our team." No, you won't. Fix my email. It's not a lot to ask.
