Had a good discussion with their sales guy Andy about helping me in a difficult situation with my installer going bust. He and the owner then decided to ghost me for no reason. Odd behaviour at best and a waste of all of our time but a reason to think twice about them also.

We had our 19 510W panels, Sigenergy 18KWH battery and EV charger installed 4 months ago by Skylar. Even though we are 300 miles north the install and engineer folllow up were performed flawlessly.We are very impressed with the system, especially since moving to a time-of-use plan and SEG payments :-) with the Sigen AI controlling this.Thoroughly recommended.
After reading many reviews and recommendations and receiving countless quotes we finally agreed and had our Sigenergy install the week commencing 6 Oct 25. 22x Aiko 510w panels, 12kw inverter and 2x 10 (9.04kwh) batteries. We would just like to say a big thank you to Georgie for pricing and to Anthony surveyor who managed to control the drone on one of the most windiest of days. Also to James electrician and Lewis roofer for the countless hours travelling, always arriving at 8am and for their dedication to getting the job done. Not forgetting Payton and Devon in office for all the planning and paperwork. I'd be lying if I said it didn't go without a few hiccups along the way, but nothing that couldn't easily be sorted. We are already planning for additional batteries and possible gateway. Thank you so much Skylar Solar, the UKs only Platinum installer. More than happy to recommend. Bob and Sharon.
I bought the solar panel and batteries from this company the sigenergy brand after searching online and get quotes exceedingly high, Skylar solar give me a excellent quote and when ahead with them, I saw the had been awarded platinum installer in the uk by sigenergy so it was the best choice for me. And best decision I have a take as the were very professional and paid attention to details James and Rob were very helpful. Now 3 months in to the system I can say is worth it and I have add more battery and a car charger all working together beautifully. 100% recommend!
Absolutely first class service from initial point of contact to system commissioning and beyond. Having been called after using an online service looking for quotes Skylar happened to be in the right place at the right time as I was about to sign off on a slightly cheaper system using unknown branded equipment. While Skylars quote was slightly more the equipment specified was far in excess of the other companies specification I decided with Skylar.From that point on everything was as smooth as butter, from scaffold install through to system install and functionality I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Professional and courteous tradesmen, informative and helpful office staff. You can't ask for more than that.Yes, they are a little more expensive than a cheap system but you gets what you pay for and of course the zero deposit (others ask for money upfront) and no payment until it is functioning properly is a big point score.If you want free electricity from the big ball of gas in the sky, give them a call.
I can't recommend Skylar Solar highly enough. From start to finish, the entire process of getting my new solar system was a pleasure. We had an 11KWp system with panels on our South, East, and West facing roofs, and the installation was completed in just two days.What sets Skylar Solar apart is their customer service. The market for solar is incredibly confusing, but their team was a pleasure to work with. Their phone and WhatsApp assistance was super quick to respond to and provided clear, helpful guidance at every turn.Their quotations were simple to understand and priced perfectly. We'd received so many other quotes that were either far too expensive or so cheap that you questioned the quality of the work. Skylar's installation cannot be faulted, especially considering our large property with multiple roof sections. I was particularly impressed with their use of drone footage for sizing up the property; it was a far better and less intrusive method than others who required loft access.After a month, the Sigenergy system has also been brilliant. Call them now!I started my solar journey with Andy Martin at Skylar Solar and he is the most knowledgeable and helpful guy I’ve ever worked with. He was so patient and answered every question I could think of and came up with several configuration ideas that other companies wouldn’t even consider. I got several other companies to quote me and they just didn’t impress me like Andy did! In the end I went with 6 panels on the east and west sides of the house so generating power throughout the day! He recommended the Sigenergy 5 in 1 unit and it’s a truly amazing machine! It’s extremely neat and tidy with great safety features. The MySigen App is so informative of everything coming into the house and battery as well as exporting to the grid. The scaffolding arrived quickly and on the install day Luke and his roofing buddy got to work and by midday the panels were up on the roof, then the tricky part was getting all the wiring up and though the roof. Again, they did a flawless job and was done to a high standard. Note the power was only off for just under an hour while they put in the new fuse box in for the solar. By 4:30 the system was all powered up and generating charge for the battery and house appliances. They removed all rubbish and made sure I was 100% happy with how the system worked as well as the App. Then had Devon from the office call a few days later to make sure I was 100% happy with the setup before even paying a penny! Skylar Solar did all the paper work so that I could get paid to export power to the grid and the good news is after 4x sunny days I’ve already created 105kw’s and exported 50kw back to the grid. I was very nervous about spending money on Solar panels and batteries but Skylar Solar have a team of experts to help you out with anything. - I would recommend them 100%
The service from this company from the initial contact has been fantastic nothing was too much trouble for Sinead to provide us with a number of quotes until we made our minds up. They were not the cheapest quote we had but their quotes were all detailed out clearly which left no questions unanswered Sinead would also check to make sure everything was what we wanted. Scaffolding erected 2 days before fit. Very pleasant fitters Luke and James wasted no time on starting the fit and worked really hard all day to get it completed. App was explained to us before fitters left a clean and tidy site. More than pleased with the service deserves 10 stars and we would be willing to recommend.
Installation was done and dusted in one day, efficient and knowledgeable team di as they were asked, likewise back at the office, all my questions were dealt with quickly and with a happy team, all in all a very pleasant and efficient installer.
