Ian and Adam from Smart Home Survery were great. Adam expediently took care of the admin side of things and Ian went in to look at the property I was considering. The report he offered was very thorough, and he took the time to have a phone chat about it after I received. The property was problematic, and I needed some clarification in order to decide if the property was right for me. Ian gave me a sense of what I would be looking at in the future if I did decide to purchase. Super important info and really helpful too.
Thomas conducted our home survey 2 years ago when we purchased our home and had a great experience at the time. He walked us through his report live and was available for follow up clarifications. He also recently helped diagnose a water intrusion issue and offered advice on how to organise the repairs. Highly recommend.
The report was very detailed and easy to understand. The surveyor was very cooperative.They even answered some of my follow-up questions two months later when my solicitor flagged some ground stability issues and they explained which ground stability checks they had done by default and what I could possibly do on top to feel extra safe.
