We moved house on Thursday, and were very impressed by the professionalism and service provided by James and Jason. They moved our belongings into our new apartment up 3 flights of stairs without one complaint, they made the entire day stress free and it is the best service we have received by a removal company. If we were looking to move again, I would return to Smith removals without hesitation. We would highly recommend!
We used smith removals on Wednesday for our move to our temporary home and we weren’t disappointed. Best house move so far. The guys were great and worked really well together to move our things with great care. They even went above and beyond to make us comfortable in our new home making sure furniture was put in the right places. I’ve never used a removals company before who helped dismantle furniture to make it fit down stairs etc and reassemble it too in it’s new place. We were so impressed we will definitely be rebooking our next move in 6 months with you again.

Definitely a 5 star proffesional service. Al is very organised and keeps communication lines open so you always feel safe with plans. Luke and Andy were very friendly when they came to collection and drop off our belongings. They got right to it and treated everything with care. There is no doubt I would hire these guys again if I ever move again! A really trustworthy company and good value for money. Thanks guys. X
Well, what can I say! Out of everyone I’ve dealt with throughout my moving experience, Allan and the team were by far the most competent, friendly and reliable people I’ve come into contact with! No job was too big for the boys which included my piano; pool table and obscenely large chandelier, the stress I anticipated of the ‘big move’ was totally abated and I am pleased to say, was made entirely hassle free.Thank you for making the process that little bit easier and being so efficient and easy to deal with. I cannot recommend you enough and implore anyone thinking about using your services to absolutely do so!
I came across Smith Removals by pure chance / luck when desperately searching for someone who could help me move house at quite short notice! Alan was so lovely and helpful on the phone and really put my mind at ease. Excellent communication. The guys (Jason and Luke) who did my moving were fantastic; turned up on time, worked quickly and efficiently, organised everything. I had to leave them to it when it came to unloading and they worked amazing quickly and managed to remember where I'd ask them to put everything. To top if off they seemed like genuinely lovely people and put my mind at ease on was was a bloomin' stressful day. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and would use them again.
Quoted the move wrong van was too small. Breakages. Items left behind. Unprofessional communication. Denied any wrong doing after offering a gesture of goodwill. Charged £180 immediately by card on the day to have remaining items collected after being paid cash on the morning.Avoid.unprofessional and uncaring
A friend recommended Alan Smith to me. Al was great in the run up to the move, always replying to queries promptly and reassuring me. It was the hottest day of Easter and Al and the boys worked tirelessly to clear my house with good humour and efficiency. There was a bit of a delay getting in but all was unpacked and put together efficiently and speedily. A great personal service and very good value for money. Would highly recommend this company. Having made the decision to downsize, as an elderly disabled person I was naturally dreading this house move.I was trying to decide between the two companies who had quoted for the job when a friend recommended Smith Removals Limited who are based in Norwich.Mr Allan Smith came to quote for the job and I immediately felt at ease as he quickly understood my needs and offered a bespoke service completely tailored to my requirements, and all at a very competitive price.I have some incredibly fragile and delicate pieces which are of great sentimental value and he and his team proved to be experts at packing – every single item was handled with great care, professionally packed and extremely well protected ready for the journey.Not only this but Mr Smith and his team treated me, my home, my belongings and also my dogs, with the greatest consideration and respect.I really cannot recommend Smith Removals highly enough for literally delivering a truly first class service in every way!
