My counselor is very helpful in outlining my plan for all of high school! She is also very supportive of some ventures that I’ve discovered. It makes me feel more confident about my plans for college and gives me assurance in what classes to take, which extracurriculars I should focus on, and more. I wished that I would be able to receive more resources sometimes though.
Our positive experience with Solomon Admissions has been largely due to our counselor, Delphine Byrd. While the Solomon program has been insightful, Delphine brought it to life. She finds the right balance between conveying what is a “must do” and adapting the program to maximize the strengths and interests of our son. We feel fortunate to have started the process early (before 9th grade started) so as to leverage Delphine’s expertise in course selection and overall positioning.
