The primary reason for taking sophia, was because it was going to be a quick way to catch up so i could get most of my credits, now, the majority of their courses have touchstones that are around 6 pages long and require in-depth research that could easily push a course that you could complete in a few days to a few weeks at least, then you have to wait for them to complete it, ill put it this way, 13 of the 22 classes towards a business degree require touchstones, for a total of 24 written in depth assignments, dont do it, its not worth it anymore.

The class contents vary greatly in quality depending on different subjects; some are decent, while some are very unstructured to the point of being confusing. The practice questions and milestone questions have nothing in common and can often be worded very ambiguously and lack basic clarity; a significant portion of them are trick questions set up for you to nitpick the subtle differences for the "correct answer" instead of helping you reinforce concepts and understandings. So no, if it is not because I have already acknowledged my advisor and paid for the membership, I would NOT use their classes as transfer.
I'm not sure how people are giving sophia low ratings. Sophia is amazing. I've done something like 21 credits through Sophia and transferred them to SNHU without issue. The courses are very well structured and clear. I am an adult learner returning for another degree - but I'm incredibly impressed with this platform. The few times I reached out to the support team, I got very quick responses. This saved me LOADS of time and money. I paid for a year outright to get as many classes done as I could and saved over a year on my degree through SNHU. Thank you Sophia!
Wrote a complaint on CopyLeaks they used after I wrote a 16-paragraph assignment and personally submitted it to CopyLeaks to check its plagiarism checking service. The article I wrote was completely original. CopyLeaks said it was 100 percent AI-generated. I messaged Sophia.org to give them notice I would be canceling my membership due to the errors in their plagiarism detection services. Upon writing the complaint to them I said it was BS that they use services that are not fully capable of proper plagiarism detection. They responded I was using disrespectful language and that I could not speak freely because BS is considered expletive language. This ultimately leads to AI being an authoritative regulator in the education sector, whether it is wrong or right.
