Eight years ago we sold a home we loved. Now Sotheby's Realty is listing it again, using OUR paid-for photos (eight years old!) and mis-marketing the price of the sale then by over $100k. It's so unethical.

I recently had a very pleasant experience listing and selling my home through Sotheby's international with agent Jodi Hanson. Jodi came into the listing agreement recommending a sales price 25% higher than other agents that I had contacted. She had an excellent marketing approach and sold the property in 18 hours for 6.6% higher than the listing price. She came to the table with qualified buyers in hand and I can’t say enough in praise of her and the experience with Sotheby’s. I know it is a hot market in Southwest Florida but I had other agents from one of the major real estate companies in the country who could not produce one offer in 10 months just five months before signing with Sotheby’s . I highly recommend them and Jodi Hanson she produced as promised.

Sotheby's International Realty is in the business of stealing homes-white collar crime

The top boss of Sotheby's International Realty, Olivia Hsu Decker, said she was going to steal my home in Belvedere, CA. I overheard her tell her sister, Angela Chen, who lives next door to me. Olivia told her, "I'm going to steal Melanie's house." This woman has been trying to steal my home by having her lackey, David Gilbert, undersell one of my homes. David Gilbert published a fraudulent MLS document saying Sotheby's purchased my multi-millionaire dollar home in 2014 for $650K. I live next door to a house that sold for $49 million dollars. No one can get a garage that cost $650K in Belvedere. Do not ever trust Ms. Olivia Hsu Decker. She has stolen many homes across the world. People have committed suicide. She is a greedy, damaged, and illegal realtor whose real estate license should be revoked. I have not found a site that allows me to write a review. I am glad I found TrustPilot.

A nightmare!

We used the local branch in Tri Cities Wa _ Retter & Company Sotheby's International realty - when we wanted to sell our house and find a new home. That turned in to a 3 months nightmare.That has been the worst experience ever - once we signed on the agent appeared to loose interest, was unorganized, lacked knowledge, constantly wrote our surname, adress, city, zipcode wrong. Time and again I had to tell her to put the correct facts in the listing, ask for information etcShe didn't keep her own timelines and finally we gave up on her helping us find a new home and went with another realtor. When the first sale fell through she didn't relist our house until we specifically told her to. She wanted her friends to get it and she did not look out for our interest at all. That deal fell through because of her lack of knowledge. Luckily one buyer had put in a back-up offer so we sold the house.This is only a small summary of all the issues, which I'm now writing down and documenting in ordre to send it to the relevant persons. There is a lot!
