Review Time
I applied to bid in the timed auction that’s finishing today. I received an emailed reply from South Dublin Auction that told me to contact them directly. However they haven’t responded to my emails nor answered their phone. So I can’t bid and a seller will get a lower price for their item than I would have paid!
The payment process and website were fine, but I bought a set of Apple-packaged devices and was disappointed to find they were not original, even though they were priced like genuine products.When I picked them up, the receptionists quickly pointed out there was no Apple logo and said they weren’t responsible. I understand they have to protect themselves, but selling items like this is really misleading and leaves a bad impression.Be careful and double-check before buying. I wouldn’t recommend it.
I left a load of stuff in for auction, some of the valuable bits seem to have disappeared as they never appeared in the auction and having requested that they be given back to me, I am now told that they were donated to charity, which is bullshit. I have been in communication with them continuously, they were underpaying me, charging me commission on items they had not sold, they are literally impossible to deal with. My experience is that their aim is to rid off the customer at every step. The owner Ross is the single most obnoxious and rude man I have ever had the misfortune to have dealings with. I completely distrust this company, they clearly don't care about ripping off customers and the owner is so extremely rude and obnoxious. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!
Shocking communication. They dump all our stuff that they didn't sell while not responding to our emails. A very frustrating and upsetting experience. They didn't include everything in the auction even though it had value and not until we followed up and mentioned certain pieces were they then added. I wouldn't trust this business with anything precious or that would have value, personal or monetary.
This auction house resold items up to the value of 200 euros which they said i did not collect on time this was wrong as i sent a courrier up on time who said he was treated rudely and told to go away ...I tried to plead with them to no avail....they wrre rude and intransigent...and although they have good auctions ...steer clear of them...they are an ignorant shower of .....
Terrible to deal with rude arrogant, , called in to ask about auction , guy at reception feet on table told me “closed haven lunch “ said nothing else , met owner in carpark coming in told him about employees “ saidTo toThat’s life if your not happy go somewhere else . Rude fooker
