The support team was quick and helpful. They extended my ad for another month since I hadn’t found a renter yet. The platform continues to send emails about potential renters I’ve already reached out to, which adds extra effort. A drawback of this service is that it doesn't allow potential renters to specify 3 or 4 preferred areas or zip codes, leading to a lot of wasted time for both renters and landlords.
Despite the challenges, I was able to find the safe room I was searching for with the help of this application. I strongly recommend it. If you're in need of a secure location, make sure to select profiles that have verified identities and photos.

SpareRoom has been an excellent source of finding potential tenants over the years. The website is very easy to use and the daily updates are extremely useful as I have very little time to search through potential matches. My one gripe is that I think it should be made compulsory for people seeking accommodation to have a fully completed profile as I often get enquiries from people who haven't bothered to complete their details and requirements. I don't have the time to keep going backwards and forwards asking questions, so I do not reply to these people. I always state, quite clearly in my ads, that I won't reply to anybody who doesn't have a fully completed profile, but this is inevitably ignored. I've made the effort to put as much information in my ad as possible, so I feel that they should also do this!
