I bought a star for a new nephew a couple of years ago with minimal fuss. This year I went to buy one for his newly arrived sister only to find (and have had confirmed by the company) that they now use a different company for the purchase process. DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY NOW. It’s a ghastly process unless you have a very straightforward order (mine involves gifts to a family in another country). I won’t list the difficulties as you’d die of boredom before I got to the end of the long list. But between April and now in September I’ve yet to make a successful order (and failed to honour this baby’s arrival in a timely way). I have now had a long exchange with the company and may yet succeed if they can untangle the created tangle. Had it not been for wanting one app to serve both children I’d simply have gone to another company.
I placed an order and still after 1 month, I have yet to receive the physical packet from them. Had to pay to go get the documents printed up on my own. Emailed them 2 times and got the same AI generated bogus response. Thank goodness I did not order it with a frame. This was a gift to a little girl who had to say goodbye to her dog.
They lie about who's helping you. It'll say "John" entered the chat and then they'll send a message "Hello this is Aaron and I will be assisting you today."When I asked to speak to his manager he said one second, then wrote "Hi I'm John, the Manager" FROM THE SAME ACCOUNT.Scam of a company. I will be taking my star-buying business elsewhere.

I received the certificate but I did not receive the registration number in order to see it on the App.I wrote several emails but no one is responding. Can you please share the registration number, I need it in two days, the site info was that it will be delivered in two hours.Thanks,Alex
My husband had a star named for me as a Christmas gift because he knows my love of astronomy. The app worked ok for a few days...it was a pleasure to sight my star when it was working. Then, when I put my star registration in the app, it would go to a blank screen. My issue with this company is that I created a support ticket, had to wait almost a week to get a response, then I followed all of their instructions TO THE LETTERand it still didn't resolve the issue. No more responses from them for over a month, then I received an email from them offering 30% off another star "purchase" I replied, saying they didn't respond to last support email, and that I wouldn't recommend their service to anyone. Boy, I got a reply so fast my head virtually spun! The only reason they responded is they were scared of losing money, but they don't even provide adequate customer service to the ones they have now! No, I DON'T RECOMMEND STAR REGISTRATION. THERE ARE OTHER AND BETTER COMPANIES THAT PROVIDE A BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE!
