Review Time
I was promoted by TrustPilot to give an honest review of my experience - so here it is.I was assaulted by an attendee of a convention and although the police were helpful, the organiser of the convention had a very outdated 'not my problem' response to the incident - there was a incredible lack of duty of care to the point where I was told 'it didn't happen in the actual function hall, it's not our issue'. Furthermore, when I asked if the person who attacked me would return, I myself was asked not to attend any further conventions. This is my sticking point and bone of contention - women should never be made to feel that they deserved what happened and then asked to be silent and dismissed from future activities. The organiser has since deleted the communication but luckily before this happened, I took screenshots. I have been encouraged to remain silent which, in this day and age is shocking. What happened to the 'me too' movement? Why is this still happening in this day and age? I would hope no one experiences what I did - but if you do, do not expect support or empathy. Out of sight, out of mind springs to mind.

Starfury was the best con experience I have experienced. I had an accessibility pass and although the hotel created problems, the staff and organiser's couldn't of been more accommodating and helpful!As a young disabled person I felt welcome and valued and when it came to auto and photo opps every help was offered, making the experience so much less stressful!Thank you so much to the staff and volunteers you guys are clearly the backbone of this convention and I can't wait to see you again at Cr7!!!
We have been to a few Starfury Conventions now and every one has been fantastic! The organisation is great and the staff and venue worked well. The way the days are laid out shows that a lot of thought goes into the planning of these events. With having a huge name at crossroads 6 I was expecting things to be a little more chaotic, but no, everything ran super smoothly. As always the staff are very helpful and always do everything they can to make people have the best experience. Starfury are the best convention organisers in the UK and looking forward to the upcoming events we will be going to.
My very first convention and had an amazing experience! Not only amazing guests but the event is so well organised. It was an amazing atmosphere and the stewards were really helpful. Looking forward to attending another one in September xx
From start to finish, the whole experience with Starfury was incredible.Excellent customer service and immediate response to all emails and questions prior to the event.Well organised, although some of the volunteers were abit flustered on occasion, I put this down to the change in normal venue and the crazy layout of the hotel. All staff approachable and easy to talk to. This was my first convention ever, with any company, and it won’t be my last, especially Starfury. Thanks for a great weekend and see you again soon.
The most stress free con I’ve ever attended. I was fully expecting CR6 to not run as smoothly as previous crossroads due to getting Jensen as headliner and there being so many con newbies, but I was proved wrong! Photo ops were a breeze and I queued for less than 10 minutes for Jensens auto!! I love Starfury cons and will keep attending just as long as Sean keeps putting them on!
