I attended Ascension which was the first Stargate convention Starfury has put on. It was amazing to meet all the guests especially RDA!! It was very well organised in comparison to other conventions I've been to. I think my only negative would be the lack of vendor or merch stalls to browse or buy from in between photo's and autographs. It was okay for me & my partner as we hadn't met any of the actors attending but there was still a couple hours in between to try to fill.
Always the highlight of my year! There's a family feel to these events, everyone looks out for each other, no matter their walks of life everyone is accepted wholly. Prices are brilliant for what you get, it's the cheapest I've seen it. The guests are always top notch. Location is perfect! You got everything you need in close proximity.I truly love starfury, I've attended many events over the years, lost count. I'm all booked in for the next one 💕
I had never heard of Starfury until 2017 and have been going ever since then, the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful and for the first time I volunteered this year at Crossroads 10 and I have to say it was a fabulous experience and just shows how much work Sean Harry and his staff put into every event not just this one. Best and the only convention I will ever go to.
Brilliant. We have been to 6 conventions so far and have tickets to Enchanted 6, Crossroads 11, then Highlanders 9.Im disabled and couldn't manage a huge convention, but these are perfect. The way they set up the convention over the main 2 days means you will miss nothing. The panels are brilliant and the next day they are reversed in order so you can see them all and get your autographs too. With photos in the morning. It's definitely worth going Gold if you can for the Friday night meet & greet, plus extra autographs included as even the standard ticket has some autographs free.
Starfury always put on an excellent event! Whether you're a first timer or an old hand, you will be welcomed warmly, and will be guaranteed a great time. Great pricing (one of the cheapest conventions around), fantastic guests, excellently organised, and plenty of staff/stewards to help you out. * The only issue you will have is that they become addictive! 😂
Starfury Crossroads was my first ever convention and I have been to each one ever since.Very well organised! Staff always on hand to help guise you or if you have any questions. Most Stewards are very knowledgeable (obviously have experience) I have also been a steward and tried to be as helpful as possible.They are strict with the rules of no video or audio recording (which is in the contract for all guests) to help them feel more relaxed and open to share. Take all the pics you want! The panels are good and mostly good questions are asked. The prices for what you get are a bargain. There is no pressure to buy extras and recently they have added a small merch stall. The Supernatural fan base has always been welcoming and kind in my experience. Sean is great at replying in the Facebook groups considering his schedule and running his business.Alot of queueing, but that how it goes with conventions.The parties are fun and the cos plays look amazing!
Crossroads was an amazing convention to attend on my own. I felt well informed and supported by the organisers and stewards and everything just ran smoothly. Thankfully previous attendees also kept us newbies up to speed on all the important details.
