Took forever to receive drum pad. Had it less than a month and the rim broke. Reached out to the company and a solid month later NO response. Wasted over $100 on a pad for my son for Christmas.
Terrible business ethics. Purchased a tenor drum pad set for our son to practice on while he was in marching band. Ordered online which required full payment. Site said order could take 30 to 60 days to ship which was long but we were willing to wait based on reviews. We waited. And waited. About 3 months later, we contacted the company via email and got an automated response saying that they were back ordered due to popular demand. Each month, we sent another email but either got another excuse that the order was delayed, did not get a response, or the email address was not active and got an undeliverable message. Nobody answered the phone and so we continued to email using “sales”, “info” and other generic email addresses since the customer service was not responding. We eventually gave up and by the time we contacted our credit card company to submit a credit, our window of reverse charge had expired!Shame on the owners for taking all these orders without delivering. They moved to a new location, changed their business address and web address trying to hide from their customers! Hundreds are in the same position as we are as we joined a Facebook group that has disappointed buyers. Did I mention we ordered in Oct 2019? It is now 2024!
Thieves. They took money from my son almost 5 years ago and still no pay. They have undergone several name changes and moves. They turn off all comments on social media, because the only comments were from people they scammed. They do not reply to attempts to contact them. And yes, I still have the receipt where I paid for it.
This company is Xymox Drum Co, formally Xymox Percussion. And they have been doing this dance for the last 5+ years. We ordered over $600 worth on merchandise in October of 2019 with an additional expedited shipping fee. All of our money is gone. We were dragged through the beginning of 2020 before COVID and were told over and over that things would be shipped out eventually.Our money was taken right away from our accounts and we have never received anything. Not a set of bass kickers, not a table pad, and not a reserve pad. We received no refund, no correspondence after they deleted their previous website. They have wiped our orders off of the map. It has been almost 5 years and this couple running this business are deceptive.They blamed previous employees for the lack of communication but still refused to mail anything out or make us whole from the loss of so much money.They continue to sell on shopify, under a new name, in a different state. There are lawsuits against the owners regarding the loss others have suffered. This is a dishonest company riding on the funds of 100's of people from 5 years ago and counting.Do not buy. DO not support them, they have no integrity.
This is XYMOX PERCUSSION. DONT BE FOOLED BY THEM. JUST TYPE IN XYMOX PERCUSSION REVIEWS ON GOOGLE OR EVEN FB. THERE ARE FB GROUPS ANOUT HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY. I MYSELF ORDERED IN NOV 2019. 300.00. THEY SHUT DOWN THEIR WEBSITE THINKING THAT WAS IT BUT I HAVE COPIES OF MY ORDERED I NEVER GOT. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF TOUR MONEY. THEY DONT DELIVER AND SINCE IT TAKES 8-12 WEEKS TO GET YOUR ORDER, YOU ARE PAST YOUR DISPUTE TIME FOR YOUR CREDIT CARD. THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY AND YOU GET A HEADACHE. A SCHOOL BAND TEACHER EVERN GOT FIRED BC AFTER USING 10,000 SCHOOL FUNDS TO ORDER FROM THEM AND THEY DIDNT DELIVER, THE TEACHER HAD TO PAY IT BACK AND WAS FIRED.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Xymox (now sticksandpads.com because they keep changing to try to ditch their bad reputation) is a soulless company that rips people off. Ordered a tenor pad for my son almost 5 yrs ago and still haven’t received it, nor have I gotten my money back. Do your research. There are 100s like me. Since I haven’t received it, this is still an active/open issue.
